They called me this morning asking for someone that isn't me but has the same last name. I answered and told them I had no idea who this person was. They told me that I'm lying and put this person on the line. I hung up and have received 4 phone calls from them, back to back.

They call me at my desk 5 times per day, do not leave messages even though they have been told by the HR department and my boss not to call. They have left voicemails for co-workers asking them to have me call them! this is ridiculous. I told the lady I am not allowed to take personal calls at work!

I too received a call from this number, but on my 'emergency use only' cellphone yesterday evening at 1655 hrs. I dislike SPAMMERs which call me daily on this phone. I used to get charged for every call I answered, but I've since learned to simply ignore them and then add SPAMMER numbers as a Verified SPAMMER into my phone's Contact List. This way when they call, I read that it's a Verified SPAMMER and I just ignore the calls. I dislike Spammers and used to religiously report them all to the Federal Do Not Call program; but it appears to me that it must an 'unmanned' governmental department, as nothing ever seems to get done?

They do not stop CALLING.... I have asked  many times to stop the calls. They don't care. Is time to take action.

Received calls from this number 4 - 5 times daily for the past month. They refuse to identify themselves, and they did not remove me from their list after several requests. They ask for my social, and they call as late as 3 AM. When confronted, they usually become verbally abusive before hanging up.

Don't get scammed by illegal payday loan lenders. Check with your state's banking authority and if you find the lender is not registered in your state, the company is likely not legitimate or can not enforce the loan in your state.  Ignore harassing telephone calls and tell them to put it in writing.  If they are not sending you anything by mail, forget it.  Pass this on, its time we fight back against all those scammers out there.  Thanks!

got this call this am. when i answered they hung on the line then hung up. i called them back to get a credit repair and stated i wanted the business # removed. she said she would. Report them to the do not call registry if you are already listed there and start writing down when they called and what happens. Might have a future law suit.

this is a fraudulent debt collection company.  i have received 2 calls from this number, and each time they ask for a different person (not me).  when i told them to stop calling, they got extremely hostile and hung up on me

Called our office this morning, claiming they were doing a verification of employment.  The person they were looking for has not worked here since 2005.  I hate being lied to!

They called my parents of which I haven't lived there for nearly 20 years now... and they tried to trick my parents to give them information about me by saying it had something to do with breast cancer research??wtf?!?!    I do owe on a student loan, so I am sure that is what it is regarding.  At this moment in time, I can't pay on it because I have been laid off for over a year now.  They need to stop harassing my parents.  That is just so uncalled for.

Got a call from 845-589-9256 wanted my D.O.B and the last 4 of my social- I refused and they gave me some bogus 4 digits to check if it was me.. of course it wasn't.  Can't imagine what these guys want but it's annoying-  if you are from Pioneer Credit Repair Company, it's clear you're involved in a scam of some sort-  maybe move to Nigeria?

I called them back twice.. I dd not get auto.. I got a person both times.) They were not allowed (by law) to disclose information other than last 4 didgits of social and name they thought I was. (They were correct.) I decided to give info, as I knew I have bad school debt. SALLIE MAE is their parent company and they were contacting me regarding a defaulted student loan. They understood how I wa placed in vulnerable position w/ giving them my info.. but I knew I had bad debt. Hope this helps...

They called my neighbor and told him I put his name down as a reference. I never even knew his number. They will call everyone you know or is around you until you answer.

I see they are starting to recycle this number.
The complaints have stopped for a year and are no restarting with this number.
I assume that they circulate their numbers to keep a low profile.
Just watch the dates on the complaints with this number.
Pioneer breaks all laws regarding debt collection and could careless.

Be careful with these scum bags.
They call anyone in your area with the same last name.
They then say they were put down as a job reference and ask personal info about you.
They also ignore certified cease and desist letters.

They called my in Laws and said they were contacting them and that I had them down as a job reference/friend.
Never listed them as any friend or reference.
Then tried to get personal information out of them.
Slime bags/liars/ and they were sent certified cease and desist letter and they blatantly ignore it.

Annoying!!!  They call twice everyday for the past several days.  Keep calling about some important financial or legal issue.  Won't stop calling!

I called the number and the young lady answering the phone said... Pionier Credit Repair Company...  I asked her to repeat herself to insure I got it right... then hung up.... not sure who they are .. or why they need to call me.. but thanks to my smart phone .. the call got rejected... hahahahaha

Debt collection - student loans.

Debt collectors for school loans. Couldn't get a hold of me so they called my family members even my job. They will do whatever it takes to collect the debt owed.

"Pioneer Credit Recovery"  using an autodialer.  Me, I don't talk to machines.

just the latest debt collector (number 7, I think) who's trying to collect on a debt from my past. this has taught me to never, never, never answer phone numbers that are toll-free or outside my area code.

Another NY number...Conger & Elearner are probably subsidaries of SALLIE MAE, just like Global Hue was.

Have been getting calls from this number every Saturday for the last 3 weeks. They never leave a message. Only the number comes up in Caller ID, no other information.

I called back this time and they asked me to identify myself before they would give me any information on what the calls were regarding. We owe no debt, and I have been told from a family member who is an attorney that any company that is reputable will identify themselves and the nature of their call, not ask the person personal information.
