Do not want this number calling us again.  They are obviously on a phishing expedition.  When I answered the phone there was a recording stating that this call is about our credit cards, that nothing is wrong, but if we want to lower our credit card interest rates then press 9.  So I pressed 9, and promptly asked the gentleman who answered to please take our phone number off their list.  He asked that I hold while he removed our number from their list.  I was on hold for about a minute and hung up.    The caller ID listed the following as the caller name:  V05231146150061

Imagine that, another form of harassment the government can't stop, what is the purpose of the "do not call" list?

I couldn't resist picking up the phone today.....knew it was some stupid scam as tey call all the time.  I answered phone in a fake voice pretending I didn't understand them.  Kept them on phone for 5 minutes before yelling into phone " you're a bunch of scumbags! Goodbye,". I then slammed receiver down.  Within 2 minutes the same guy called back but this time caller I'd displayed a different number....I told him he better not cal me again.

Now, I know this won't stop them but I got some sick satisfaction wasting their time!  What scumbags!!!!

this # called me 12 times, and every time they call me, i asked nicely to remove my name from thier list....looks like  the DNC is as scam as those whos calling me.

Same exact issue - pressed 9 and got someone who didn't speak Englsih very well.  Asked to be taken off list - got no place - what can be done.  on dnc list but it doesn't seem to matter

Knew right away by the number (all 1's and 0's) that this was a sales call.  Didn't pick up and it didnt' leave a message.  ANNOYING!!!

start reporting these calls to the Fed Trade Commission they do look into it 1-877-382-4357 you will receive a ref # so you can find out what happened. I have reported several numbers.

This is the 2nd time I received this call. No name avail.The first call was lowering my interest rate on one card last week ( the only card) ,I was on hold forever,I hung up. Tried to call back today after the second call ,number not in service. These people need a life as well as a good can of woop a** opened on them. Try to get computer help for a well known brand in the USA and all of the sudden your talking to the a so called service tech who is reading a canned manual on their pc as well as treating you like they were trained to do. (regarding the third world taking us for a ride)and you can't understand a word. I guess everyone has their price as we all have to live. I don't know how all of this great modern tech got out of hand and I will give credit to the good people who had good intentions. They were smart and diligent enough to give us this tech. Phone spam,that's interesting. I like that. I'm old school as far as all this goes but I don't like the abuse that I have to put up with from these dirt bag, no face, third party
ripoffs. Just writing to give my two cents and I see I'm not alone.

I also recieved tis call,,  I think these calls go much further then just a spamm call , If you know your getting this call maybe the best thing to do is not to answer it, its probably like getting spam on your computor if you try to ubsubscribe then you get more spam     , just speculation..   , personaly I have a talking caller id so out of area #'s I just dont answer it.  protect your privicy, by calling you someone on the other end knows if your home or not home.  I think this is a good case for 2020, but then, it might be better we dont know, somebody slap me please, spam and crap phone calls are steping over the line.

Why are they calling me number, no call.

When I pressed 9 to let them know I was not interested in the credit card services.  The spokesman (idiot!) started saying F--- you and kept repeating it.  I did try to call Comcast to report it but they said they could not help - advised me to call the police.  What a horrible group to deal with!  Hope they get caught and punished for trying to get personal information from unsuspecting people.

Tried to talk to individual. They mumbled something about credit cards. I couldn't understand what they were saying. I think the person was humming on the business-end of a skin flute. Suggested that they try pounding sand.

It must be a scam considering I don't even own a credit card.They called about 1pm and I didn't answer and  they left no message.Gees don't these people have anything better to do with there lives then to scam people?

this number has called on several times.    selected "9" and got a real person. Said I am on the no call list and I told them not to call again.  Calls continue to be place from this number.

They call me all ours of the day. My house phone and my cell phone. I tell them to stop calling me and they just hang up on me. I tell them I don't have a credit card and say why you calling me. They hang up. Tell them that if the credit card company wanted to talk to me they call me them selves. They hang up. Just got a call me. Andi yelled at the dude. Saying I reported them the attorney general and what there doing is illegle. So they guy says stay on the line and I'll remove you from our list or you will be called again. And they just hung up on me. I wish they would stop calling me. They call from a different number everytime so they can't be traced and you can't call the number back. If you know how to get them to stop calling me. Let me know.

Same schtick about lowering interest rates, very generic.  When I asked to be removed from their list the woman told me to stick my finger up my a** and then said to go f*** myself.  How can they get away with this?  It is obscene and harassment but since they do not call from a legitimate number is there any way to trace where they are really coming from?  A lot of these calls are just annoying but still within the law - this one is not and they need to be shut down.

Got the automated voice about lowering my interest rate.  Said press 9 to talk to a rep.  I did so and I told the person I wanted to be added to the no calling list.  he said "no".  I repeated myself because he had a accent and I thought maybe he misunderstood me.  He said "no".  I said stop calling me and he started saying "lower your rate" repeatedly

This number has called numerous times, always with the ID "name not found."  As above poster says, recorded message from "Rachel" went on about credit account.  "While there is no problem" blah, blah, "this may be your last chance...."  "To speak to us...push 9."  Because my number is registered with my state's attorney general to block this type of call, I decided to push 9.  A live person came on, and I asked him what his name was.  He said "Dave." (slight accent that I couldn't identify)  I asked him what number I could call him back at, and he said abruptly "you can't call me back," and hung up.  I have reported this robocall to my AG's office, but have not heard anything.
   Many of my friends and neighbors in the same area code and exchange have gotten this call repeatedly.

Didn't answer the telephone, since I didn't recognize the number. I assumed it was an illegal call from a telemarketer/scam. This site is very helpful in confirming my suspicions. The caller did not leave a message.

I too got a call to my home with this number, caller id states name unavailable and no message.

What an insane, ill-informed, pain in the butt you are. Maybe instead of spouting off nonsense on the web here you should take some time to research the HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL process you have to use with these new light bulbs. Or better yet, don't. Just go ahead and break one and stay in the room with the poisonous gasses. You'll be doing society a favor.

Oh, and using wikipedia as your source? Might as well use what you just read on the bathroom wall, it's likely just as credible.
