call never leaves message

It's Navy Federal Credit Union Collections Department.

This is not a scam, it is NFCU.  I've been almost a month behind on payments for almost a year, pay within 30 days and they don't report it to the credit bureau.  But they DO call you and try to get payment, and they use several different numbers - this is the main number they use.

Call the number and they ask for your access number.  If you don't have it, then yes, they will ask for your social to access your account.

This is the Pensacola Florida Navy Federal branch.  It is legitimate.  They are likely just calling to tell you that you're late on a loan/cc payment.  They don't leave a message.  I don't know why.

I got a call from them because I was late on a CC.  Problem was/is, that their CC doesn't have a particular payment date.  It's like a fuzzy mystery number.  So I had no idea when it was due.  I do now.

So that's it.  It's just some older ladies notifying people of late payments.

MESSAGE FOR and DISCONNECTED.

I meant, I'd NOT talk to them, because they're SCAM!  No companies call and ask your personal info.  If you think it's your bank, Dr., or something then call them from you by using the number you know to find out if they have any problems with your account and etc.

I received calls from this number a few times. I'd NOT answer it. I know it's a scam trying to collect personal info.

NFCU is asking for all the information now...it's just happened recently. I sometimes call to pay my credit card bill over the phone (via the 1-866 number on their site) and they make me jump through hoops of giving info before they'll even ask how they can help me. This number is indeed from NFCU collections. Also, if you paid something over the weekend or after 6pm (I think) it takes 2-3 days to post and you will still get collection calls unless you have them check the account and notate that it's already been paid.

I just received a phone call from this number too, but I did not answer because I dont know the number. I do have account at NFCU but nothings is wrong on my account. I'm glad I did not answer.

The 850-473-4688 phone number is has no ties to NFCU. I just got off the phone with the concerning the phone call I kept getting this morning. I also turned in the phone number to authorities to let them know that they are doing a phishing scam via phone. Pretending to be a NFCU Representative, and that something is wrong with your account and they need your access number & full social to access your account??? Hmmm...
