Well, as expected, they called back.........even after pressing the phony "9" to have my name removed from their list when they called on 8 July.....what a joke.  However today, they called from 850-438-3174 but still listed as calling from Pensacola, Florida.  I will be filing a complaint today and maybe it will possibly help stop these fraudulent, illegal calls.

I'm already on the Fed DNC register and still they're calling me.  I'm in California.  Thing is, it's a prepaid Cell so I have to pay 13 cents to get these lame calls.

We have been getting this call as well and we have also been getting cards in the mail about our warranty.  The cards say call 800-978-4145.  I am guessing they are one in the same.

I received a call today at 3:19pm.  I live in Oklahoma.  I was told basically the same story.  He wanted my bin # to my car.  I told him if I had purchased a warranty such as he described, he would have all the information.  He was angry by the time I asked for his supervisor.  The same voice came back to the phone, speaking firmly, quickly, asked what I wanted.  I asked for his ID# and name, he hung up on me.  I too will report these jerks

Forget about calling the number back and complaining.  And it won't do you much good to report it to the Do Not Call Registry either.  Fact is, caller ID numbers can be spoofed just like fake email addresses.  So the number 1 850-478-2651 is just a spoof number used by several different criminals whose real numbers we will never know.  It is hard for me to believe the phone companies are helpless to put a stop to it if they wanted to.  We are on our own.

When the call came through, I didnt answer. Put the number in Google and came to realize it must be a telemarketer.

All my caller ID says is Pensacola, FL.  I live in NY

Same here in S.Calif . Said call was from Florida so I did not answer it . Did a call back and number does not exist .

When I get these aggrevating calls, I aggrevate right back... string them along... hold on a sec.... oh, I think I have that info in the other room, wait a minute...  keep it up as long as possible, keep their hopes up then don't give 'em anything!  Try it... it's actually kinda fun to see how long you can keep them on the phone (and keep them from harrassing someone else!)

Just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer it, they didn't leave a message.

caller id shows Pensicola, Florida.  When I tried to call the number back, it said it was not a working number.  Cute.  So I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

Just received a call from this number with the name of "Jack Hierholzer" on my caller ID, no message just the busy signal sound on the machine.

This number has the same offer or I should say "final offer" or "last day" for a reduced interest credit.  I have received similar calls from 5-062-256-3143 and 321-729-9349.  I need all these calls stoped!!!

DITTO ! to all the above comments!!  Why isn't there any protection and recourse for these SOBs??  I'm so SICK of getting calls daily, often from the same names/numbers as previous calls.  The couple of times I've pressed "1" to speak to someone, I've been promised that my name would be taken off the list.  And do I believe that?  NOT ON MY LIFE!!!  Where are the legislators who loved you when they wanted your vote?  Something is VERY wrong here, for sure.  Who are the idiots who take these jobs anyhow?  And who are the idiots who actually think something can be done by these other idiots to solve their money problems?

This is one of a series of fake Caller-ID phone numbers from a company that's pretending to sell warranty extensions for your car.  Don't give them any of your private information because they're con artists.  They refuse to give the name of the company, using something vague like warranty services.

I get their calls weekly, but from a new number each time.

Well I'm in California and just got a call. I didn't answer.  I've gotten to the point where I enter the caller ID# into google BEFORE I answer the phone. It has saved me wasted time and headaches. I love the internet! By the 3rd ring I know whether I should answer the call or not.  If not, then I turn off the answering machine and turn off the ringer to my phone.  They can just listen to my phone ring on and on. I don't care, I don't hear a thing, lol.  No reason to get upset, just laugh it off.

These illegal calls are most likely coming from Florida based IXE Accelerated Financial Services.  Yes, the number that shows up on your Caller ID is illegally spoofed (just one of many violations of state and federal laws these criminals break with each call), and is useless for reporting them to the authorities (which is why they do this).

To get the information about IXE that you can (and should) use to report them to the authorities, go to:

That web site (both its blog and the forum, especially the forum) has a lot of useful information on IXE and links to the agencies to report them to.  Only if enough people file complaints will the authorities take action to put these scumbags out of business (and hopefully behind bars).

Answering machine went off NO one left a message tried to call back and got the Number is no longer in service message.
