keep getting calls at night from this number but did not answer. tried calling back but it only rings. Don't know who this could be.

Multiple calls from this number, answered it once, no response from other end.

This number called my cell phone, and when I answered no one said anything... I hung up and called back and it just rang and rang.  I have an iphone and on my call log it just says FL, USA

It appears this number is out of Pensecola Florida, Escambia. The location is Longitude: -87.21 & Latitude: 30.42, but this is just for the city not the business that is calling. I used www.anywho.com and did a "reverse look up" (for 850) 696-2990 and got this info. Mostly useless, lol.!! Good luck!

Annoying calls to my cell phone  from 1-850-696-2990 on a daily basis, no answer when I pick up - does this mean it is trying to get a response from an answering machine or?

I answered the call this time (3rd night in a row I was called by them).  It was a survey to see if I was satisfied with a recent car purchase.

I got a call last night and tonight from the same number, neither of which I answered.  I looked it up online and it is JDJ Research Management Inc. based out of Florida.  I can't find what they do or whether or not it is legit though.

called home and cell within 15 minute period. didn't answer either call

No, I don't.  All I know is FL.  I'd like to know, though!
