Received a call today from this number on my cell.  She only used my first name and said she was calling from "Skylink" in the states.  She explained that they were a collection agency and that she was calling about my debt of $14,000 on my HBC credit card.  She wanted to me to confirm my information and I cut her off, informing her that first - I never had a HBC credit card, and second - I was not giving any information over the phone.  She didn't believe me and started to raise her voice when I asked her for the address of "Skylink".  She gave me the address as (845 Wilson Ave., #401, Toronto, Ontario ) - I cut her off and said that this was a scam and hung up.  

I have never had an HBC credit card and I have no delinquent accounts.  She called me on my cell phone which not too many people have the number.  She only used my first name - never mentioned my last.  She said she was calling from the States but gave me a Canadian address.  I googled the address and the only collection agency listed is Integrity First Telesolutions Inc. This was a phishing scam call.

Most of the time this company calls and either leaves a message that it is urgent that I contact right away or there is dead air while their auto dialer figures out that  no one answered.  MBNA Canada, was one of the fastest growing Mastercard distributors in Canada.  Basically if you had a heart beat and could make the minimum payment you got one.

Real problem was that if you paid your bills on time or in full each month, they would increase your cards limit. When the market fell MBNA took a huge hit and was acquired by CIBC as a bailout and an avenue for CIBC to get into the Mastercard market. Prior to the take over CIBC was a VISA distributor only.

Before the take over MBNA wrote off all bad debts for tax purposes and then sold the debt to companies like Integrity First and CRS.  Both of these company paid pennies on the dollar for the debt list. They are aware that most of the debt is uncollectable through the courts as they statute barred.  The only way they can reopen these accounts is if the "alleged" debtor acknowledges the debt, then the time clock is reset and they could pursue you through court actions.

Best course of action is to do nothing if you can not afford to pay the debt.  Remember that MBNA has already writen it off as a loss with Revenue Canada. Do  not argue with these people, Do not talk them, Do not open their letters.  Time is on your side as long as you do not acknowledge the debt.

The same company is calling me again. Integrity Telesolutions Inc just wants to call people about old debts of something that they can't have. I am not responsible of paying for something that is totally unfair. I don't have the mastercard anymore and they would call and call nonstop. They seem kind of deaf. I am not making payments with this garbage company when they know that i don't have the card anymore. For Integrity First Telesolutions Inc people should do is if the MBNA mastercard customers doesn't have the mastercard anymore then we should leave them alone. But no they want to do what they want to do. Which it is so b.s

These people used to call my house for 5 months because they work for a garbage company call themselves MBNA canada. I tried to file a complaint against these people and they couldn't do anything. I spoke to the CEO Jason W Brunet on the phone the guy was such an a***ole claiming that MBNA mastercard company is going to take me to court over this old mastercard debt. I was like make them take me to court. Then he was blaming me for signing up for this mastercard. Yes i sign up for the mastercard but i never heard from MBNA company since from the summer of 2011. After that he made promises that he was going to eliminate the interest he never did a thing since the last time i spoke to him. I can't count him with anything anymore because i am not paying for a debt that is overcharge. That is b.s. Just because that company is in a mess they want me to pick up the pieces i don't think so. Then he is saying that when i have the time to make payments i should let him know. Yeah right. This company is failure and i hope there business goes down the drain. All they want is your money that is it.

This outfit was cluttering up my voicemail with messages pertaining to a debt which did not belong to anyone in my household. I called them back to ask them to stop calling my number. It ended with a shouting match and their threats that they would continue calling me because they did not believe me.   My blood pressure is way up now.  They messed with the wrong person.

I received a call from Irene, Interegy first, she put on her Supervisor and he asked me to send in $ via email banking. I was feeling this was a strange call.  I will find out how to block this number . 1-855-204-3008 ext 2299

I will have to figure out how to call block on my office phone.

This phone number has been calling me twice per day. They are so annoying and they work with a new company EOS NCN. They call almost everyday. They worked for a garbage company call themselves Bell Canada. They need to leave me and they can write this off.  

This was my second call from Integrity First regarding debt I owe on MBNA card.  Not only did they not verify who I was, they gave me someone else' address,  SIN# and card #.  Told me I owed $11,000 on credit and how was I going to pay it.    I do not have MBNA card or ever lived in the city address on their file.   So they must have looked up the name on the internet and called everyone who has a name that matched their file!!
Calling me at work and leaving these type of message is annoying.  After explaining to Dan and Kandida White, they have the wrong person, they called again.  Now this is harrasment and MUST stop.  

This person says his name is Dan and he wanted to offer me a deal on the phone. I don't believe it. The person has been calling me for the last few weeks and they hang up. If they are related to bell canada, sometimes i feel like i should go to the store and cuss them out. The phone calls are getting annoying. I don't want any of there deals i just want them to leave me alone.

The dialer keeps calling. 5 times today. This should be illegal!!!!

You are calling me 3 or 4 times a day with a recording for a George Enos and I don't know the name. I won't answer any more but when I tried to call you back to advise I couldn't get through. Please stop calling

Call block them!  It's the best feature on a phone to avoid these unwanted calls.  You can also add number to black list on cell phone...which is basically the same thing.

Every couple of days we get three or four calls from this number within a space of two hours. There is no identification on call display apart from the number and no message is left. This has been going on for months now. We live in Nova Scotia.

Paying your bills does not stop these agencies from harassing people. The phone numbers come from a customer list the debt collectors purchased from the company you originally owed the money to. Those companies have either been paid directly by their past due customers if they wanted to continue to receive the service, or the companies have written off the debts.

Regardless, if your name/number was on a debt collection list anytime in the past 20 years, you are still subject to these harassing calls. There is a privately owned highway in Ontario Canada called the 407 that is legendary in its abusive collection program. They have been written up for calling past customers for up to FIFTEEN years after the alleged non-payment of a toll. They are in blatant contravention of the statute of the law, but they have not been told to cease and desist by any legal body. So many of the irate folks getting these calls are mercilessly subjected to this endless harassment because the debt collectors try to skirt the laws, and are not necessarily freeloaders or delinquents.

Seriously, if you felt you had been 'taken' by a customer for a substantial amount of money, would you not have hauled them into court after a reasonable length of time and not just hired an auto-dialer to piss them off?

Just got my landline and already had a call from the conservative party and this group...not sure why...I do not know a Joseph. They told me when I called them back they would remove my number...we shall see

Me.....Here's a suggestion.  Why don't you send a letter via USPS,  validating the alleged debt and requesting payment.  These phone calls just make people mad and unresponsive.  That way the people can read about your claim,  check the SOL date,  take the whole thing under consideration,  and then make a decision as to whether your are a Scamming piss ant and send you a C&D,  or possibly pay the bill if it is legitimate.  There you go!  Problem solved!   Everyone is happy...

They wont stop calling after a week, come on, pay your bills. Debtors!

This number calls my home atleast twice a day sometimes three times a day.  They are debt collectors!!!  Just pick up and hang up they will stop calling after a week or so.

They have using an automated dialer and calling my place of business for wrong party. I called in to advise but they obviouly don't know how to monitor their incoming calls because I have been on hold for 10 mins..the compnay is called " Integrity First" , a collection agency I think..WAKE UP!!! if your going to manage clients receivables and use a dialer you need to have some management chops..it's not difficult...It just shows your lack of awareness and ability..It could be MONEY calling you!!!! Why are you not monitoring your inbound calls and your answer/wait times?? What are your agents doing?? Surfing the internet?? If I was your client I would be very concerned.

They keep calling for no reason.

I got a new phone and started receiving call from this no. I had called them up and advised that they are reaching a wrong person and to take my no. off their list but they are like deaf people. They keep calling and its very irritating.
