This same company has repeatedly called my home for years from different numbers and have left the same threating message. They have yet to send a summons to the person job or work place they are looking for, or even to my home, since I was used as a reference.
It does no good telling them the person they are calling does not and has never lived here and that I will not pass on the message.  So; I purchased a Digitone call blocker plus and now I don't have to ask them to stop calling; the device auto hangs up on these fools!!

IT TICKLES ME to watch them call from different numbers and can't get through. I have regained peace and quiet in my home.

I received a message from 210-858-1565 also from 855-691-0192 stating that "Carol White" has an important personal  personal message for "MY NAME" .. this may hinder my ability to work and use a bank?...

SCAM SCAM SCAM- when I get a letter from my County then I will look into it. I know I have some past debt but I have looked at my credit report and nothing shows on there that I havent already negotiated for or settled.

These people have been calling me for two weeks every time they leave a message automated saying that a woman carol white has been contacted to forward a letter hindering my ability to use a bank and be employed. i looked this up and did not respond now i am getting messages stating from no name automated stating they are going to mark this as undeliverable because they have delivered several messages to me and deliver correspondence which they haven't i have yet to recieve a notice in the mail and if they mark it as undeliverable I will no longer be notified of this process and it will hinder my employment status and my  banking status and any assets. of what "process" they are speaking of I don't know. They haven't said I technically owe a debt they haven't said exactly why they are contacting me. I received another call after that stating it was now Linda Gold and I should call them to give them an additional address to add to the claim that was being forwarded?? which is funny because the one before said they had already delivered it. In all these calls never a human voice. I am at a loss here I have tried looking up ms assoc on google which someone stated is them on here, i've looked up the other num that they actually call from and have seen a MNS M & S all from buffalo ny. I did find SBL debt consolidation company associated with the number they called me from 347-254-7550... then 855-468-2798 on this site when looked up someone states that the companies name is M S assoc but she looked it up and it MNS associates out of buffalo NY.

Has anyone on here actually had legal action taken from these people. Or At least had a physical letter mailed related to this number.  I wish that there was a way to know if these people were real from what I can find and the way the responded when I called them back they are fake. So I am going to not respond until I have some solid proof.

I get a call from 616-988-8566 from carol white to call 855- 228-7516.  I have been getting calls everyday two to three times a day.  It is always different numbers but he same person.  I have called the number back and always just get a recording. I called today and a man refused to let me talk to  Carol.  Asked me to give all my personal information, which I refused to.  Said he could not let me know why they were calling me.  Just said I owed a business money.  Said because I refused to give my information he was taking me to court.   Said they have sent me notices in the mail yet I have not received anything in the mail from MS Associates.

Unbelievable . Receptionist answers being coy about the whole thing. She called me a truck driving woman because I refuse to take this . Someone calling like I owe past due to someone. I actually work for the government.
I owe no man, so bring it to the court room.

I received the same message at my work a few minutes ago.  It was a prerecording and the person stated her name was, "Carol White". They were to serve papers to my home or place of last employment.
The caller id at my job showed 440-398-0633 but the recording stated to call back at (855) 228-7516.
They never state what company they represent and if any type of legal action were to be taken it would be through your local municipality courts. Do not become a victim of these scammers, file complaints with the FTC - although it is hard with no company name but at least we can help provide as much information as we can for further investigation.

Total scam.  Ignore 'em.  Report 'em.

Go to police and make a complaint to your local attorney general.

See:  https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

Their threats  are worthless, don't let them intimidate you.  Don't let 'em threaten you with jail or anything like that.   Don't talke to them.  If they call tell 'em to go to hell and that you know this is  a scam.

Scam threatening to call my employer and contact bank.  Caller left message.  Sounded like little kids in the background.  Then someone by the name of Carol White said this is an important call regarding financial debt.  I do not have any debt.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

Yep just got one the same said her name was Carol White and they were sending paperwork to my last known employer. I told her to go ahead and to have them served by a process server or local sheriffs department and she said that if I didn't take care of this situation now it may hinder my ability to use a financial institution. I told her to give me her company name and she said MS & Associates. I also have an Experian account and I have nothing on my credit pertaining to this company. I told her where she could stick it, and if she ever called me again I would file charges.

Got the same message as Kim.
Carol White called me leaving the same 8552287516 number. She said I would be getting papers at last work or home address and it could stop me from using a bank. That it would be in my best interest to call back.

This is so weird and scary that they are leaving personal information on voicemails the number that shows calling is 713-561-5991. This same number called a few days ago I called back and woman answered with no company name after giving her the numbers she had just called she said they had wrong numbers and hung up on me .
