I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks, two to four a day. I am reading other comments that this is a scam. This should number should be reported to the FCC. This is harassment. Will put my number on the "No Call List".

i called the number back on a different phone...It's the TLK group on behalf of Comcast Cable. Trying to sell us something...

What if they have your credit card number? Can they use it even if they don't have your pin # or 3 digit security code?

Quick question, folks, I've been receiving the same 855 number for a few weeks now (albeit a different 7-digit), and I've finally picked it up today. I said hello and no one answered. The phone call lasted roughly 10 seconds. Then I went online and searched and found it's a toll-free number in which the receiver pays for the call. Does anyone know if you actually get charged for answering an 855 call? And if so, how muc is it?

How can I stop calls from this area code and number?

the same thing happened to me. When you call the # back it is busy.

They called us twice today! We didn't answer.

Am sick and tired of these phone calls.  I do not answer any number that I don't recognize.  This number has been calling me for the last 6 days and they start the same but last 4 digits 4166, 4167, 4168 and so forth.  "DON'T ANSWER THEM"1111111

Have been getting 4 or 5 calls everyday for 2 weeks. I have told them I am not interested. This is harassment and I'm thinking of reporting them.

Got a call this afternoon and they spoke fast and were rude when asked for clarification.  When I asked if they would speak to my husband they hung up before I could hand the phone over.

I got an unwanted call from 855 267 4168 not sure who it is calling my number.

They can scan your number, and your contacts threw your cell, home phone not that I know.
If you do answer (which you should never do) They come up with some line like your credit card, Mastercard, Visa, etc.. had been stolen or you have all these unwanted purchases. something like that. they will ask for your card number. HANG UP! Never answer a call from a card company. Big NO NO.

never answer random number calls. If you wait long enough and ignore them they will stop. They go on a loop every so often, always around dinner time. They are scam calls. Never answer these calls.

A series of 5 calls in 2 days, all missed on purpose. Telemarketers? I dont know. With all these negative reports here? Maybe a type of scam that allows access to computer via simple phone line?

I have received 5 calls from this # sinc 11AM. I answered the 3rd & 4th time they called and they hung up. I called it back and it is a busy signal. Very annoying when you are at work and they won't stop calling!!!

Not just verizon.  I have had 4 calls today and it is not even 1pm and I had 4 calls yesterday.  I don't pick up, but for those of you out there with smartphones, use an app called SPC or call filter.  You can block this number so that your phone wont even ring when they call, you can also block them from sending text messages too (or anyone else for that matter)

i called this number back after i had about 5 missed calls from them and i didnt want to be mean so i went along with it and then the guy asked me if i could talk to his boss, and when i talked to them i asked him how he got my number and name and he didnt answer that then i said i didnt want this at all and he got really really rude with me. DONT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont answer!!! its a waste of time the first time they called me they were selling magazine and then a week later trying to sell me health care. tell them to take your name and number out , or they well keep trying to sell you stuff

I called them back and said I wasn't who they were looking for, and had only had the phone about a week. Haven't heard from them since.

They called me left no message so I called them back. Boiler Room call about dental insurence asking about my credit cards and if I still had them, I said no, They said have a great day and click. I always say no when someone I dont know asks about cc's or my ss #. Grrrrr Scammers.

This number calls all day long.  Does not leave a message.  They are calling my place of business.   When I answer I tell them to take me of their list and they continually call.

Every time you register for e mail, a purchase online, a grocery store discount card, a school event and give out your cell number as a contact for anything.  Those companies sell your number to a database company and telemarketers can purchase that database to solicit you anytime for anything.  You have to call them back and request to be removed from their data base and let them know your not interested and that they can not continue to call you on your cell phone number which incurs charges for you.  Even a debt collector has to stop calling a cell phone when you request they do so as it incurs charges.  You may have to do it in writing for a debt collector but a telemarketer has to remove you.  Good luck!

MD 24/7 keeps calling but hangs up, called me at 6 AM and I am not interested.  I just called them back and they removed me from their call list (Supposedly?)  Its an offer for discounted medical and dental insurance.  I have insurance and dont need anything. So hopefully the removal worked!!

Calls 6 to 7 times a day an haven't had d phone 2 weeks and 4 days won't quit calling I dnt answer and dey keep calling I'm sick of it.

Called me three times yesterday at 9:30am, 11:00am and then again at 2:00pm without leaving messages.Called again today at 9:30am without message. How do I block them?

I was woke up this morning by these people. the "855-267-4168" people. i didn't answer, and they called back like 5 times in one hour. and i just got the phone.

Usually they get your number when you buy something from the shady TV commercials or online. The vendor hires a 3rd party to collect billing and address information and the 3rd party turns around and sells the data to them (sometimes the the vendor, 3rd party and telemarketer are all owned by the same company/distributor or have an agreement to share information).
