Both 855-276-1135 and 855-209-3594 are complete scams. Just ask them for their address and you'll find out.

These people are obviously crooks. They call every day. Can't anyone stop them?

I received this from Hogan and Weinburg, her name is Brooke Taylor on a credit card back in 2007, got to be near the statue of limitations in kansas.......she told me i had to pay $1300 or i will be getting a summons in 24-48 hrs and will have to pay it plus court costs which could total $3300......i said for a $300 credit card, sounds like a scam.....lol pissed her off......i said guess i will goto court.....you know your 6yrs is pretty much up why wait for the last day, nobody has ever called and this is just a small credit card company. but she was pretty nasty on my voicemail.

I am getting the very same exact message left on a general office number with no assigned name attached to it. It is ridiculous the lengths this scum will go to to drag people through hell these days!

A woman keeps calling & leaving messages. She says she is from HW & Associates and she needs to verify the address on a file her office is involved in.  She leaves 2 different numbers to call her back on. One number is to verify & the other is "either way".  I'm tired of her calling my cell phone!

Aaron.. this group is a scammer they will continue to call either using Vernon's name or if you tell then yours .. they will start on you. DO NOT GIVE any inforamtion what so ever.. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

Looking for Vernon Olson, Salt Lake City UT (former SLC Police Officer). Mr Olson gave my phone number instead of his own when he took out quite a few "Payday" loans. Mr Olson never paid those loans back. This company is just trying to collect on those loans. They will remove your number from their database if you are not the person they are trying to contact.

Team HW (as you call yourself ). How legit are you? What is your web site? An internet search finds the following:

1. No Hogan and Weinberg in Maryland.
2. There is a listing for a Weinberg and Weinberg on a Hogan St in Texas..

AS typical of other scammers you use like names of other attorneys either in the area of the call or elsewhere. I have seen last names/first names intermixed with a city or street name.. hmmmm

If you are trying to settle accounts as you say then why threaten with a summons? You give a time frame but do not act.  Violation of the FDCPA if you are a legit company ... Prove you are legit.

These people are threatening, very unprofessional and just down right rude!  They leave messages warning of serving papers at home or work, give a deadline yet nothing happens except the phone calls NEVER stop!  When asked for their address or fax number they hang up... but continue to call back!

If it is legit why then are they threatening?  Why do they suggest they are a law firm if they are a collection agency?  Why do they five 24, 48 or 72 hour timeframes yet continue calling?  Very shady!

When I told them the information didn't match up, they accused me of being fraudulent and lying.  There is no way I owe them the amount of money.  They said I originally borrowed $500, and my last payment was of $60, so max I owe is $440 right?  They are saying I owe $2690 but can't provide me with a receipt or itemized statement.  Something isn't right here.

They are a collection agency look it up, the only scam is people that choose not to pay your bills, if you are getting calls call them back and find out what it is regarding if its the wrong number tell them and they will remove it, that is exactly what we did.

Scam, stating time sensitive matters and violating some county in NY all bs. Collecting on old debt who statue ran out. Do not even talk to them, I told him if he called again I will be filing legit phone harassment charges . Refused to give address or fax. That you tell you something right there.

Well I had a call from Ms.Jessica Adams I thought it was a scam but I looked into this and found out the she is indeed an investigator......She was nothing but nice to me also It was a debt that I had owed but I didn't remember it......

This is not a law office it is a collection agency,  there was an on line add requesting the finest collection pond scum call them at 716-332-1643 for a collection job, the real name of this fly by night operation is HW Capital and they are located at 2190 Marina Dr Hamburg, NY 14075 and the owner is Mark Lesinski per NY Sec of State filing date 5/11/2012 SOS filing# 4244429.  As a collection agency they have no ability to process serve nor could they afford to file law suits, they are just using illegal scare tactics that violate the FDCPA as well as numerous state laws

this is a "Jessica Adams" that wanted to collect information about my husband. This was not friendly and stated that she had called me before and I yelled at her and hung up on her. NOT! DO Not give out any info to these people, NOTHING but a SCAM!!

An illegal one will.   No legitimate collection or any other firm is allowed to discuss or leave any open information about claims against you.  It's probably a scam,  or maybe a collection company trying to get you to pay on a 25 year old debt that you already paid.

I got a message left on my friends phone for me about a check fraud. what kind of business would do such a thing.
