As an update, no one came on Friday.

Same thing happened to me 2 days ago; however, they contacted my sibling & not me which is crazy b/c she just got a new phn # through Sprint & we have no idea how they obtained it.  1.  Any professional company stating they're suing someone would NOT be calling from a toll free # unless it's a collection agency receiving info. from a 3rd party in a state different then the one you live in; they would go through a local attorney, etc.  2.  A last resort would be to go to someone's home if you have tried other ways to contact them w/no success.  3.  Why would they not ask my sibling for my contact # & just assume she's going to give me the message about calling them w/a case #.  4.  If they were so smart with technology they would see I no longer reside in the state I used to live in anymore for over a year now.  I say this b/c I got the same threat about coming to my home, which is NOT my last known address but the address they obtained from someone else, & serve me papers I have to sign.  Sorry for them they'll get a slap in the face when they come there & told I no longer live there.  I don't know if this is a scam, but they're definitely not professionals.  Do not call them back from an unblocked # if you get your # changed b/c they probably have caller ID.  The woman said she's coming to my home tomorrow so we'll see.

so, did they ever serve you? I'm getting the same threat. I almost gave them my card # to pay for the settlement...but a redflag went up and I told them I'd call them back.

Me too, I received the same threat, what's up with that

i received a message with a case# 178---, from 855-282-2603 saying that they needed for me to call them back.  They had some papers for me to sign, because i was being sued.  

If i'm being sued, 1st of all i would know it, 2nd of all i would get something in the mail that i would have to sign saying that i received documents of the suit and 3rd please subeona me.

A call from this telephone has been calling using different phone #s  with threats to come to my job.
Calls are rceived "Private and No caller ID #s" all times of day and night. Who are they?

this number belongs to upstate mgm which is a collection agency, they are threatening to come to my house and work, i am reporting them to the BBB
