follow up...I tried something different, I called from a land line and I got a real person to answer 855-290-3158 line right away, and YES, it is Charter Communications. I told rep-Brian I'm sick and tired of them and I want to be taken off the list. Rep said my number will be taken off their promotional offers list and won't be calling back effective 24-48 hours.

I am getting VERY ANNOYED by this 855-290-3158 number calling me 2-3 times a day, no message left and whenever I've called back there is no answer. I'm getting sick and tired of it!!!!!

Calls every night about 8:30 or 8:45. I've never picked up the phone because my caller ID just says "toll free call". It's really making me mad because it's against the law to solicit after 8PM. I'm going to report them.

I believe this call is from Charter Communications. No message is left. Calls every day. I am looking for a company in this area so that I can change my phone and internet service.

It is Charter Communication cable company's advertising number. There are a few others as well such as 877-305-7934. They keep getting new numbers to avoid getting ignored by us customers.

Keep getting a call from this every day, and no message left, no answer when I pick up. I do have Charter service so that may make sense. The kind of thing that makes me seriously consider switching providers.

Called and left an automated message claiming to be the cable company. I called and they claimed they wanted to sell me more cable services. So I called charter's number on their website and the actual charter rep said it was one of their numbers, but they were having problems with it. I have no idea what that actually means. Did Charter contract with them or are they just a phone phishing scam?
