i believe this is all a scam! be careful and i dont believe what Damian said above. maybe he is in on it!! report them to the authorities!!

Don't even worry about these clowns. I got a call last week, they said they were looking for an Edgar same last name as mine, told them I don't know any Edgar, the guy got upset said I could be hiding him and they would come to my house with the police and serve some court documents. Told them to do so. I went to work and they called me a Sean Davis left another threatening message for Edgar, stating his property would be auctioned if I didn't reply, I called and they wanted to know my number and name I just told them to not bother me and they could anything they wanted to the property (I live in an apartment complex).

Actuallym I'm pretty sure this is legit.  I too got a call from these clowns and thought nothing of it.  3 days later I got served court paperwork that said I was getting sued due to unpaid bills.  Be careful, they WILL go after you for this!

we all need to do something about this company. it seems to be a very big problem. i know alot of people who are also receiving alot of calls from them. they call my phone asking for Lisa Peikert or something like that.

Another different update:

Now they are calling from a 855-390-0642 number. asking for the same people. Even though when i called ytesterday i asked them to stop calling since they are looking for someone that i do not know.

To Juan.......I know man. They call my phone EVERYDAY! Twice in the morning and at night. I put their number as blocked on my cell and now it comes up as Unavailable or Restricted.

My mom just got the same call. Three calls from the same company to three different numbers within 30 minutes.

Just got the same call. Asking for my mom. I had my wife call to see what it was. "I know you're not dumb, whats the case number" is what some guy tells her when my wife doesnt have a case number for him. I had to step out of the office to call them. I called and told them they didnt leave me a case number in the VM and so i gave them my number and they gave me two random names who i didnt know. They said they wouldnt call again...story doeswnt end there....about 5 min later an aunt got the SAME CALL from the same company asking for another one of her sisters. something about a subpoena. I still don't know what's going on.

Hello NW.....how did you find out the name of the company? Are you sure the guy was telling the truth? I read on here that someone said the were calling about a cruise. Darn these people.

I've received a phone from these people for the past two days.  They told me the same as the rest of you and that they were looking for my father as he had listed me as a contact,  The girl I spoke to yesterday "Miss Casey" was extremely rude and insulting.  Today, "Sara Blankenship" called me an old hag.  Nice, isn't it.  I was able to get a Mr. Roberts to tell me the company is called EPA and the are located in Ontario, CA.  I live in CT and have reported them to Dept of Banking.  You will need this info when you report them.  This is harassment and they need to be stopped!!!!

Gosh...they seem to be calling everyone. To bad there is no way to find out who they are. After the first time they called my number, I blocked it and now it comes up as an "Unavailable" or "Restricted" number.

These people called my husband's grandmother today trying to find me, stating if I don't call them back I will have to go to court. They told her they know where I live, but I don't come to the door when they show up!?  I'm a stay at home mom, so I'm here ALL of the time and no one is coming to the door.  I've had other companies (or maybe the same one, different phone number) call other old contacts and relatives looking for me.  It's pretty sickening.  I don't know what they want, but they sure have an unprofessional way of handling it!

I just got a call from this number.  Caller ID totally blank.  Male voice leaving a message for a "Yorick Prudett" (Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him, Horatio!). Something about information on some unspecified document being sent to a non-descript "clerk", and no return call to them would be deemed confirmation on the non-specific "document".  (Credit card history statement?  Subpoena or summons?...Let your imagination fill in the blanks.). My guess is they are hoping to get confirmation of having found a "live one" by virtue of your fevered, terrified self calling back with trembling hands to correct any "misinformation".  I could hear voices in the background which were reminiscent of a computer technical assistence phone bank.  They give out no information at all, while trying to entice you to tell all.  Interesting technique.

I do believe these are scammers-but will wait to see what others say on this website. you call it and it just says'CORPORATE something or another.

Hey Guys...How are we going to stop these people. I know others who are starting to get the same call. I live in CA and they keep leaving a message for someone else about court matters and to call. Who are they?

My sister in law got a call in IL regarding my husband (we live in another state). My landlord has also been contacted recently. They told my sister in law she'd be getting a subpoena at her old address and that she had to appear in court as my husband's next of kin...weird. Not sure what to do.

Me too. They just keep calling and calling. I never answer it though. Please see what you can find out and how to stop them. Thanks.

Got the same call today 1/11/2012. Call from Brandon Sharpe, indicating that I have a summons. File # 12BASGLIU5DL in CA. Looks like the number originated in Florida (561) I am checking that now.

I received this call from number saying my husband needs to appear in crt in CA (not where we live).  Wantingt to know if this is a scam.
