do not call wrong number

keep calling

They called, let it ring one time and hung up.  Tonight, the news told of a new scam where a computer calls random numbers, lets it ring once and hangs up.  Then when the callee returns the call, they are charged $20.  Could this be one of those?

855-296-6378 calls at different times of the day, several times a week.  They never send a fax - its our fax line.
Guessing telemarketers, and we're on some kind of call list.

I have gotten quite a few calls from that number. I have only answered once (I don't answer calls  from numbers I don't know) after they called several times. It was a robo call. They told me to call back on a different (800) number and told  me to refer to a case number. Everything is rattled off so fast it would be impossible to get the information anyway. And if I'm not mistaken, collection agencies are required to tell you who they are and  why they are calling. If they can't leave a message and  tell me WHO they are and WHY they are calling then they aren't getting a call back... I can't find  a reverse look-up for this number so can't find out who they are either.

I'm pretty sure these are debt collectors; maybe for M&I bank. First the system asked me to confirm that I was the person they intended to call. Then, they left a message - once. All I could copy was a "361." Don't know if that was an area code or exchange; my recorder happened to be turned off. Then, they asked me to call them and left an account number. I'll get more info the next time they call.

855-296-6378 is calling our unpublished back line;  likely an auto dialer.

They have called several times  but never leave messages. I have now blocked their number. I still see when a blocked number calls so if  they call again I will report them to both the Federal and the Florida state "Do NOT call" authorities.
I answered the last time. It was a robo call. Did NOT identify who they were or what they were calling about. Stated that it  was not a telemarketing call. Sure it wasn't. But if it wasn't then I would say it is  some sort of FRAUD. They had my name and told me to call back on a different 800 number and told me to refer to a "CASE NUMBER". Needless to say they WILL NOT be  getting a call back. from me. If it isn't important enough for the to leave a message or tell me who and why they are calling the it isn't important enough for me to return their call

They call our Fax line ;  telemarketer?  or could be calling for the former owners of that number.
Either way, they could try sending a fax or checking the number!~

They have called 2x now. No message.
