A scare tactic they will use to intimidate people into paying is by calling your place of employment, ask for Human Resources and then question your company's policy for employees being "served" while at work.  One bottom-feeder tried to pull that on me when I answered the phones, wanting to serve a co-worker.  I told them the only "service" our company allows is by a law enforcement agency (sworn or civilian) or a licensed process server, which these bozos are not!!  Seriously, the whole idea is NOT to let those about to be served know you are coming.

I keep getting a call from some man that calls himself Investigator Steven Brown. Saying I have a case from some payday loan company and if I don't pay they are going to take me to court and serve papers at my place of employment.....Scam scam. For one they don't tell you they are going to serve papers on you. Get a real job dumbass.

Received a call on my phone stating some other person owned this number.  They say something of fraud and that they are a legal firm.

I been getting a call from this number for a while and I did send them a couple of payments bc I thought it was true am glad I look the number up they will not be getting other dime from me

I just got the same call from the same company and same number telling me my husband better pay or he will be summons to court and they will attach his pay. They also said he will probably be arrested

I just got a call from Steven Brown saying that my husband took out a payday loan in December of 2011 (which he did and lost his job and defaulted) the guy Steven said I have two option to pay today or my husband would have to go to court next week and would probably be arrested. The number he called from was 855-350-5495 ext 203
He said I could settle today for half the amount which is 495.00 or I can pay them 150.00 a month for  
six months and be done. I cannot find this company anywhere. Will my husband really go to jail! In a little scared what should I do?

This IAG company also uses local phone numbers to make unsuspecting consumers believe that they are in their same state.

The number they used to call me the first time was 319-553-1061  and when I advised I would not communciate with them until they sent me original loan documents that proved I owed the amount they alleged, they transfered me to a supervisor, at which point I hung up. They then called back from this 855-350-5494 number.

The rep, a Mr Spears, referred to their company as AG, IAG both various times while he was speaking. Do not fall for these idiots. IT'S A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY! Report them to the FCC and your local Attorney General's office!

This so called company needs to stop harassing people, especially at work. They also need to give out information so that we can identify anything that may not be correct. They always ask for a social security # to verify that they have the right person. Good thing we all are not that stupid....sounds like a huge scam to me. If they were legitimate they would have business info to provide for us upon request!

They keepcalling,saying I owe money, they know my address etc,i dint owe money. I tell themthey have the wrong number. Who are these people,its scary

I have been getting phone calls from this number, asking for a woman who used to live in the same apartment building as me more than 2 years ago.  Clearly this company has cross-referenced the former address that I used to reside at and came up with my phone number for this woman who lived in a different apartment than I did. I am furious that they could punch in an address, get the only listed phone number available in that building, and assume it is her phone number! It is not! I am not her! I have already filed complaints with the FCC with other creditors who have done the same thing. My phone number needs to be removed from their contacts. this is harassment!

Just called my number asking for someone I know -- -- Asked why they were calling and who they were, said this was number given to them on a loan application, and they were responding -- --  wanted to know if I was a relative or something---I offered to take message, they provided a 716 number the the Name Miss Reed.   After a couple of seconds go by without her saying anything, I say "goodbye" and she spews "you're ignorant" and hangs up!!!   Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  Would not be good idea for them to call my number again!!!

A MAN NAMED DENNIS CALLED MY PH AND STATED THAT MY NAME WAS BRANDON I ASSURE YOU IT'S NOT!! IM A WOMAN! HE STATED HE WAS W/  IAG LEGAL OUTSOURCING FOR TLO INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT MY NO. WAS ON THEIR LIST UM.. I'VE HAD THE SAME # FOR NEARLY 12 YEARS AND DENNIS CALKED 5X's IN A ROW I ADVISED HIM OF THIS I EXPLAINES I HAD TO GET AHOLD OF THE TLO.COM AND HE WAS CALLING ME FROM THERE! I THEN WAS TOLD DENNIS WOULD  LET ME SPEAK TO HIS SUP AND I STARED YEA THIS IS HOGWASH AND HE THEN DECIDED TO HANG UP ON ME! I WILL CB!!

They left me a message from a recording saying they need some sort of personal statement from me - when I called them back, the woman who answered was very vague, wouldn't tell me what they do, and said I'd need to hold for a supervisor - wanted to know all of my phone numbers, which tipped me off to something isn't right.  Never said anything about owing a debt.  I don't think I owe anyone any money.

I've been getting these phone calls for about 3 months now claiming I owe on a payday loan. They told me that they will send the FBI to my house for fraud.... I said really for a $400 loan that I didnt even get...... really the FBI has better things to do. I told them I would report them to the police if they didnt stop calling me. They said that they would continue to call..... they called today and in the mood I'm in... we agrued for 30 minutes. I asked them for proof on the loan and the company name I recieved the loan from... he said he didnt have the info. I told him that I didnt have the money and hung up. I guess its time for a phone number change..... FOOLS! Do Not Give These People Any Money

This company keeps calling me at work harrasing me and calling me names re: a payday loan and I have asked for proof in writing and have still not received anything. They are unprofessional and try to scare you , but it didnt work for me they are not getting a dime from me the way they act , I even called back returning a voice mail and got in an argument with one of the collectors and he told me to never call them again but what do you know they have called me harrassing me after that, they are a bunch of idiots!!!!

I have received numerous calls from this IAG. They advised me of a debt for a payday loan, when asked to provide me with a letter outlining the details they stated they could not, but would e-mail me. I never saw an e-mail at least. They would also call my place of employment; which I told them they could not do so.  They stated I was refusing to pay a debt which I replied "No, you are refusing to provide me with valid information." they hung up...they always call and hang up.  I do believe this is a scam.

got a call from these idiots trying to contact a Matthew Hazaard that we don't know.  They called on 1/9/12 and 1/12/12 from this number and on 1/11/12 they called fromn 877-812-8932.They have been told over and over to take our number off whatever they have showing it, they say they will EVERY time.
I will report them to the FTC and FCC and I am rude and nasty with them whenever they call now.  Next time I will be nice first and try to get some information, like a mailing address or name or something.

I keep getting calls throughout the day from this number asking for a person that does not live here.  I am self employed and they keep calling my cell phone which I use as my work number.  I am sick and tired of this, can't talk to anyone, have tried calling this number back.  I don't owe anyone any money, what I have is paid for.  What can I do about this?  I hate to change my number because I could lose alot of business changing my number.

Tell them not to ever call or contact you again at your place of employment! This is harassment and you can sue them especially if they jeopardize your job!  These are bottom barrell diggers--scam artist.  They call me everyday at least three times a day but I have their number blocked as I do all 800 or 888 numbers.  The phone rings once and disconnects.  The person they call for does not live here nor is this their number!

Keep getting these calls from 855-350-5494. If I try to answer, they hang up. If I don't answer then call goes to voicemail : They identify themselves as International Asset Group and say they have an urgent message for Ron S. Garcia.

This is a scam. if you get a call, don't give them any information.

Better yet, make up phony information and feed it to them....it will really screw them up....

Can't reach anyone when I call back.

I have been getting these calls for two weeks now......multiple numbers, but the same IAG, International asset group...home phone and cell...finally answered one today...# 716-200-4723 ..was Latteesa Edward, said she was collecting  $654  from 2009 on an un-payed credit card called G M Flexible Earnings card...ask her to send me some paper work on it, she refused, said I had to pay it now by phone......lol...I told her I was recording the call and she hung up.....I never had a GM Flexible Earnings credit card issued by HSBC bank group, and the last loan I made was in 2006 from HFC for $5000, that has been payed off...I'm still working on this....going to contact HFC which is a member of HSBC, that issues this Card to find out with is up.

This is lame! How do they even get our phone numbers? I just started getting these calls today but it is really obnoxious.

I received multiple messages in a 24 hour period looking for my husband indicating this number to call back, they leave a claim number to reference and say something like this is state and federal notifcations of a pending claim please call the number within 24 hours.

They left this number 855-350-5494 with an account number of 568448. I am reporting it to the FTC, as well after reading this. Too many people are scammed these days. Let's take 'em down! :-)

Ok so Edwards calls me from 716 200 4723 number, then feeds me a weird soc sec number. me and my dad have the same name. she reads it off fast. but I remember the last two digits, wasn't my dad. So I said it was him. I ask what was it about, she didn't want to give info, so I said, why should I give his number. "Because we are taking legal action blah blah blah, its important he calls us or you give me his number" Then she really messes up when she said "you aint you father, he was born in 1970" LMFAO little do they know who they are messing with. Sad because there going after people and harassing DAILY, I get at least 6 calls a day from 716 number.

They just called me asking for my S.S. number are they crazy!!! They didnt wanna tell me what the call was about, just that we have all your info and we just need to know if its you, so whats you S.S. number!!! Click!!!!!!!!!!

This agency is a total joke!  I am a retired collections manager of 18 years.  I received a call from a dimwitted collector today that had no concept of FDCPA or FTC.  I allowed her to give me her spill for about five minutes, she made approximately six fdcpa violations until I asked her to please stop!!! I was laughing to hard.

Folks, this agency is not on the map and of course does not belong to the Better Business Bureau.  As a few of you commented, file complaint with FTC and State Attorney General.  Eventually they will make a mistake......I'll be right there to collect!
