It's a scam!! Do NOT give them any money. Those who are telling you it's not a scam are frauds. I've had the same call and there is no amount owing. Notice how - when they leave a message - that they don't ask for any person in particular or tell you the amount owing. And if there were truly money owing, they would send a bill in the mail. But these scammers don't have your address!! DO NOT GIVE ANYONE INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!!! EVER!!!

What about accounts receivable no. 844-742-0013 ! They stated I had payday loans I know nothing about! They said it changed Hands and one of them wS through kemper don't know them

We have been getting calls from this number for about a month.  I don't answer 8xx calls.  The message left was from "DHL" regarding a "recent shipment delivered to (my) address" with a Way Bill #.  The only time we received a package via DHL was before Christmas.  Not "recent"...over 3 months prior.  I called the number back to try and clear up, it said it was DHL Accounts Receivable.  I sat on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up.
When they called again I answered the call thinking there would be a live person there if I answered.  Nope.  Same message "very important that they speak to me".  If it is so important have a real person call me!!!

This is really annoying but it is legitimately the DHL Express Accounts receivable department. I called the contact number on the website and waited on hold for about 5 minutes to find out these daily calls were about an $18 invoice I paid 2 months ago. I gave her the cheque number and hopefully the calls will end now.

I've recieved a call from this number once a week for a month.  The thing that got me was that they had my exact way bill number from a package I ordered 2 months ago.  I ended up calling the DHL number from the website but I don't think they cared.  The did however inform me that if it were true they mail a bill to your address, they don't phone.

Well, looking more on internet, found that that number was use by scammer, in 2011, saying you had virus on your computer and asking for 160$ to fix it and getting your personal informations, so a scammer always a scammer

Same as the others there was a fake waybill number and all. I tried to track the number on the website and it was not found.

Anyone has access to the WayBill Number. I started typing in 10 digits numbers till I got a package...

Reveals a Name and Area ....Fortunately for this customer, they have an unlisted phone number.

The problème is:  why the Fraudster knew the HWB number?!  DHL has a responsability to the fact that a stealer knew the customs informations.

it's legit. It's DHL's account receivables. They give you a waybill number. If you have time to write it down and look it up you can see whether or not that was actually something that was shipped to you. The rest is up to you.

I got a call from them last year saying I owe them money. Today I got a letter stating I owe them money. It was for a bill I had already paid last year. I called them up today and clear things up. Yes, this company is really DHL, account receivable dept. I was a bit paranoid, so I called another number for DHL, and they verified that it really is their number for account receivables.

Received an automated call from DHL Express about an unresolved issue for item #1289178634.  Office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  I'm supposed to call them back at  855-380-9508.  Sounds like a scam to me.

these guys called me @ work  & sd they were going to serve a summons the next day...gave me a case #  and phone # etc...I called the # ....it's a collection agency who didn't know who I was but said they were sure I owed money and was being sued...boy what a RACKET !!!! I wonder how many people they scare into paying w/this scam....can't wait till I contact my atty to get rid of these jerks...guess some people will do anything for a dime...even if it's not theirs....thing is I bet they think it's funny....I did win a law suite of this type last year...but that's because my employer records calls & #'s and I was able to use that info...
We need to turn this around on these jokers ....if you get scam mail , just return to sender ....if you get calls and you don't reconize the phone # or name ,just don't answer ...but if they call you @ work you can get them because its against the law....use their own tactics on them

Got the same call 4 times today, they leave a message on my voicemail. When i called back, there's no answer... Spam? I think so.

Just got a call from this number.  As usual I don't answer 800ish numbers and look it up on the net instead.  I love knowing I almost got scammed.  Thanks to 800notes and you guys, less people will.

I also received a call recently from "DHL".  I too went on line to check DHL's #.  I called them and after some time of looking into it, the girl came back and said it was Accounts Receivable and to call that number.  Needless to say, I shall not be doing that.

I just received the same call - and we were just talking about fraud and scammers at lunch. Had my spidey senses tingling, so suffice it to say I'm not calling them back.

I got an automated voicemail message claiming to be from "DHL" saying there was an unresolved issue with a package delivered to my address and I need to call.  Instead of calling the 855-308-9508 number left on my voicemail, I called DHL's number on their website (which didn't match the number left on my VM).  They do not leave automated voicemail and do not recognize the number.  In general if a company calls you and leaves a number to call back - don't call that number back, go look up their number on their official website.  Damn fraudsters..
