Saying something about serving me papers on my job due to bad check.  Keep trying to call back with no success!  I looked up the number and people are reporting this number and practices are illegal !

Kept calling my house for another person.  Told me they had proof she was a 1st degree relative-which she is not.  Said they were from the District Attorney's office.  When I finally saw the person they were looking for, I gave her the number.  The caller said her name was Leslie Olson.  They wanted to coherce her into paying a payday loan from over 3 years ago that already been paid in a timely fashion, plus they said there was $2500.00 dollar fine.  They tried to get a credit card number to secure the payments---which they faled to get.  When they answered the phone, they said American.

This is a scam collector, they use old hacked information from payday loans and threten to serve legal papers at your place of employment that you are being procecuted for fraud (even though they are out of state and not affiliated with a law enforcement agency). Ask them to provide written evidence of the debt through the mail not internet or you will report them to the FBI, this seems to have stopped it for me.

Woman claiming to be "Angela Harris" called and gave this as her callback number.  When called answer as legal firm "American".  Appears to be Headhunter/Bountyhunter looking for someone using our address.  Quickly rude and belligerent when pressed for details.

Called to ask for social security number and date of birth.
