They had an office in Montreal and opened one in Florida a few months ago. I worked there for only a week, thought it was shady but a lot the new hires thought it was legit. The company got raided by the police at the end of September. If anyone wants more info, just ask me

i also got taken by these scammers ...  they talk a good game ... i spoke with meracord yesterday and they were informed to no longer withdraw payments for 1st united .. the representative told it was due to a supreme court order .. don't know what's up with that .. fortunately they only got two payments from me and my mortgage company is graciously working with me to get caught back up ... by the way, i finally discovered this 'cuz the phone was busy for over a week ... they told meracord they were having phone problems .. HA !!!  now i'm trying to figure out how to get my money back ..  guess i'll try reaching the florida court system ... take care all .......... as my husband says, "if it sounds to good to be true, it most likely isn't" !!!

Im so upset a number 917 rudy called saying they will help reduce my mortgage then jesse weismann piked up and said that he will reduce my mortgage 25-30% but I kind figured out thats its all crap n still gave them my info but I closed my account n have fraud alert but that's crazy what is this world coming too!!!!!

they contacted my grandmother with the same thing about a week ago and when i read over the information and looked them up i immediately had suspicions that they were a fraud. i found a bunch of complaints and claims about it being a fraud so when they called back i said that we were no longer interested and that it looked like a fraud and to not call back. the employee continued to argue with me and i just told him to not call back again. today i get more phone calls trying to get her to recieve a fax with all the info and once again it was the same scam. when the employee called back i told him not to call again and that i looked it up on their website and it seems like a total fraud and he was very rude and ended up hanging up on me because he knew i was onto them. People these days.... so rude! know any way to get them to stop calling? and i was contacted by jesse wiesman too!

Received call from 1United and was asked a about home loans and wanted personnal information and had last 4 numbers of SSN. Said he could lower monthly payments by a couple hundred dollars a month. Said I had been approved and all I needed to do was send him a canceld check with account number. I told him to send me all the information on this reduction in payment and I would review it. Said he couldn't until I sent the check. Major concern is how he got the last number of my SSN and what he can do with it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from Steven at 1st United Consultants and he said he would get a loan modification on my mortgage. He got back to me and said my new anticipated payment would be $831.60. I paid 3 of these payments and now they are calling their services a "Program". Steven stated he called my mortgage company and they are in complete agreement with this arrangement. My mortgage company has never heard from them. This is a scam.

He pulled one over on my parents. (for about an hour) My father went down and closed out his account.
The man "Jesse Wiesman" stated he worked strictly with Bank of America. After my Dad went to B of A and asked them if they were familiar with this company.. Of course, NO.. Jesse also steered clear of answering a couple questions after my Father did the electronic signature, then he wouldnt answer my dads calls.  Long story short, my Dad cancelled the agreement.  I then called Jesse and the man answering the call said he wasnt sure if Jesse was in our not, but he'd help me.   I just hung up

He said he was calling about my credit.  I'm not sure what he was wanting to do with it, but since I didn't request help with my credit I have to guess they're telemarketing or phishing.
