This is a scam!!! I've made a complaint with my State Attorney General's office verbally and online because I was receiving calls on my job.  Some calls was a live person and some were recordings.  I was told by that state's office that it is a scam and  that it's  been around for some years now. Due to these individuals using sophisticated telephone devices, it's been a hard task to locate them!  I did receive a written response from the State's office stating it is a scam and presented a copy to my employer.  Lastly, the State Office suggested I add passwords to all my banking accounts to secure them.  They advise, if  there was a legitimate suit against you, you won't get a phone call, legally you would receive a written notice.  I hope this helps and good luck!

Do not call this number back it's a scam to try to get presonal info and get you to pay money. These people are just trying to scare you into thinking that your in some major trouble. Just some soleless people who should be reported.

Got a call from this number claiming that they were from the civil investigating unit, saying they had a claim number and a restraining order. I'm finding out this is just a scam not only do they need to be reported, it should be reported to the media so who ever they call no matter young or especially the elderly don't give out their personal info because of being scared and unsure.

we have been receiving the same calls in one way or another and now my wife is getting them, after we told them that the person they are calling for is in prison and to contact them there. I have registered our number on the National do not call registery (https://www.donotcall.gov/register) We have registered this number as a complaint in the National Do Not Call Registry....I would suggest that anybody getting these calls do the same.

I received a phone about a legal issue and was told to call this number back with my claim number. When i attempted to do so all i get is a recorded voice that sounds like siri from the apple iPhone. Must be a hoax and will pay no mind.

Received automated messages on cell AND home phones today. Said civil suit, gave affidavit number and have 24-48 hours for me or my attorney to respond or will pursue court case against me. They ended the messages with thank you and good luck!

I rec'd call from this number, same as above order against me, blah, blah, blah...

I just received a call from this number, they claim to have a warrant and wanted me to call them or to see my attorney, they ended the call with "good luck"...
I believe this is a cheap a** collection because if I had a warrant I would received a notice or a knock at the door.

Same stuff as above . . . different callers, different days, but all say they had 3 warrants but need an address to serve me???  I know a little about the judicial system and if there is a warrant for you they have your address.  What a bunch of scammers.  Trying to instill fear into people to get them to call back.  Ignore this, have had these calls for a couple of years and always on my work number . . . never cell number.

I guess they're back and still at it.   This Luchey & Associates is a 100 percent scam.   The caller ID is spoofed to read Luchey & Associates.    There have been many posts and threads concerning the bottom feeders behind the scam.  They ususally come onto this board and try to boost the scam by claiming that it is a legit thing.
They will threaten everything from serving you "papers" for jail time   on up to and including shooting your dog.
They are a scam and the guy that usually posts here defending is a 100% sewer sucking low life!!!!

That there was a pending lawsuit against me for a payday loan that i never remember. The company was Luchey & Associates.  hey said if I don't paid them 500.00. they would serve me papers and take me to court.

We received a call from this number recently. It was obviously an automated call when I answered but it spoke my son's name at the beginning which, of course, got my attention. The message went on to say many of the same things as related in other posts " civil investiong unit"  "claims #32097"  "respondent in a court action"  "order to show cause"  "restraining order". Since my son is involved in a nasty divorce, I thought it might relate to that but I find out this whole thing is bogus and a scam.

I had a voice mail on my cell phone but they had also called home phone and answering machine was off.  Similar message in that it was the "civil investigation unit" and I was a respondent in a claim, blah-blah.  Anyway, I'm submitting a complain the the FTC and FBI websites also.

Pease just help me fnd out if this is  a scam why are they no there?

I haveno idea who these people are but they are affecting my divorce proceding and will end up costing me my  joint custody or worse any advice  for this I have read all the comments from oher  and feel they are  scaring my  familywho I am tryingto work on to  sve my marriage orat least my tights to my kids. i am in tears .

I got a message saying it was the civil investigation unit.  Plus other BS.  I called the number back and it no one was available and to leave a message.  I left one all right!  I told them I know they're a scam and  that if I was in fact a respondent in a civil action I would get that notice in writing.  Also told them I am reporting them to the FTC and anyone else I can think of!

I need these people to stop calling me.  It is absolutely ridiculous how companies can get away with this.

Got a bogus call from this number today.  Recording claimed there was a restraining order against me.   What a load of crap!   These people should be arrested and a restraining order placed gainst them!

The voice mail left on my cell phone says there is a restraining order against me pursuant #31527. When I called the number an automated message says "you have reached the law office of Lucina Associates" please leave a message.

Yes. Joyce Taylor saying that there will be warrants out for my arrest. Also she called my father asking for me. I've been getting calls like this for 3+ years. They don't give up. My husband forwards the #s to the FBI.
