The William Murphy Law offices is a complete scam! They contacted my mother in law and left a vmail with a case number and then called back and hung up on her as soon as she asked what the call was pertainig to. She gave me the number they called from so I left a message. They tried to call me back, missed - I tried to call them back and no answer a few time...what kind of professional business does not have a receptionist answering the phone during working hours? Shady! I googled the name and got lots of links...Linked In, Facebook...nothing that looked familiar to me or with numbers matching the one she gave me.  I finally googled the number only to find this site that people have experienced the same thing. Idiots! If they have the balls to call me back I will be telling them something...and it won't be nice or lady-like!

Any STRANGER who calls threatening to sue you is only trying to scare you into giving them money.  Just say, "Nope...YOU LOSE," and hang up before they can respond.  Don't answer any more calls from them.

Got a call from a BLOCKED number woman just stating she was a personal locater for the government and got my information with my social and I have a criminal case pending to call William Murphy, when I called him he stated i will be served with legal papers tomorrow to attend court and I needed to send him $500 to pay a loan I owed from 6 years ago when I asked him to mail or fax me a statement or proof of what I owe he got very defensive and rude he said my warrant will be issued tomorrow but if I send him money today he can stop it after asking him a second time for a statement he told me "just wait for the sheriff to take you to jail tomorrow " and hung up! So he went from telling me I will get legal papers served to attend court to the sheriff is going to arrest me?? I was dumb to fall for this 4 years ago sending $100 to a man that threatened me with jail time if I didn't pay $200 for a bill that went to collections but NOT this time! William Murphy is like other scam artists they get people's information look into what they owe and try to bully people into sending them money!

Had on answering machine Rachel Martinez personal locater working with William Murphy. That my brother in-law is to call them gave case number and motion complaint filed against him and needs to take action right away.

I got a voice mail from a county sheriffs officer saying if I don't call William Murphy by end of day I will have a warrant. I called the county sheriffs office and they have no record of the name the cop left on the voice mail. I called William Murphy and called him out on it and he hung up on me.

i received the same call but she claimed to work for the stated of Louisiana, I  think its a scam

Got a call from an unknown number, but it was for my fiance.. Denise said she worked for the state of California and that my fiance had charges pending and if my fiance didn't call William Murphy (at the 855-529-2737 number) within 24 hours they were going to go to his home or work and serve him.. She also said Mr. Murphy works for the federal mediation office..

female called claiming to be form the federal district mediators office stating I  have a criminal or civil case pending   I need to contact William murphy and if not I will be arrested, seems like they are attempting to get money they are very rude  and unprofessional
