I recieved a call from this number with a Treasury Grant scam.  Do not fall for it, it's a scam.

Called me twice today, I'm not answering, they are not leaving messages. From the looks of everyone else's posts, sounds like another blatant scam. Do not encourage them unless you are planning a lawsuit!  

Why are you even encouraging them? It is clear it's a scam! Everyone in the news in the USA says do not give them any information, no accounts, don't give them anything! Close that account for real, never know what they can do, even if it is empty. Report them!!

This is a scam. They want to give you a bunch of money on a 'Green Dot' prepaid Visa card so that they can send you a bunch of money,  Fat chance that is going to happen.

leave no message, first time they called they said they had my $5,000 loan ready, Told them they did not because I didn't apply for any _____ loan

I also have them a bank account I don't use but im still worried, have you had any problems so far? I didnt call the second number so I didnt get to the western union part, but I have an 'authorization' number. I only talked to the indian guy. Have you noticed anything fishy on your bank account, should I call someone or just not worry about it?

got a call from the number 2 times, over 2 days, at the same time. it rings my cell, I pick up, it hangs up. I call back, get message that the number is not a working number. i'm on the do not call list.

I believe these same people are scamming on elderly.

I talked to someone (speaking w an Indian accent) from the 855 number stating I was receiving a $7K grant from the us gov. She then gave me a grant approval ID# and told me to call a second number to verify and proceed. That number is 347-352-8562. I called that number and spoke with a man who called himself Edward Furlong (seriously...this guy had a very strong Indian accent). He explained that I could transfer to a bank account, debit card, or thru western union. I asked about sending me a check and he said that wasn't an option.  Either option, I learned that I would have to go through western union to acquire a green paper card which would temporarily cost me $200. They explained that I would then scratch off the back and get the MTC number. (I haven't gotten this far yet) I am to then call back the 347 number and provide someone with the 14 digit number located on the back of the card. I did provide them with an account which has no money in it so I think I'm safe so far but I haven't gone to the store for the western union. Let's see how far I get before its obvious it's a scam...So far they can't hurt me.

Received a call today from 855-533-54567 and they left a long message of someone singing. I don't think they knew it was recording because the singing was awful and not rehearsed. It sounded like a young teen boy in a language I didn't recognize. Very odd!! Don't even know why I have a land line seems like it keeps these solicitors in business!!

I received a call from this number there a bunch of dumb nuts who got time to sit around all day long and do stupid s*** like this.  They think Americans are dumb but your going to get your up in combings you don't do things like this to people and you think your getting away with because we everyday Americans who work for a living we have great things and good things happen to us. Karma is a Bit!h and it will catch up with you when you least expect it. Us everyday Americans who do work will we just sit back and watch the news and see your bad Karma happen to you.

I had one call from this number yesterday, and again tonight.  I didn't answer either one.  Too many digits in number.  Also getting calls for other unrecognized numbers, that keep calling back nearly every hour.  Obviously from an automated dialer.  Rings a few times and then stops.  Picking up phone no one comes on.  One of those numbers is 323 250-0547.  Another is 818 813-6390.    Yet another is 253 220-7264.  I'm on National Do No Call Registry also.  Had major problem with these types of people in the past who were using my home number to show up on the caller ID of people they were calling.  Generated 40-50 calls back to me!!!
Went on for months and finally one of the call backs was from the Coast Guard.  Explained the issue to them and they said they were going to pursue because of them calling an unlisted government phone number.  In less than a week, it all stopped.
Oh, one more thing, I had gotten a couple of the people who called me as my number was being "spoofed" who said the caller claimed they were selling Yellow Pages.  Calls were coming from somewhere in India.  BTW, the practice of generating a bogus initiating call number is called "spoofing".  Check that one on Google and you'll find out this is going on way too much.

Just got a call from this number from a women named "Kelly" saying she worked for the US government in Washington DC and that due to a survey last month in my state I have been chosen with 15 other people across the US to receive $7,000 in grants that I will never pay tax on and wont have to repay, then the line went dead, tried calling back and its invalid.

Keep getting the same call first it showed up with the number then it changed to No Caller ID as I picked the call up. Sounds Indian a lot if noise in the background.

I just received a call from that number and they answerd and they ask me for my bank info and they had my name all how receives this number should file a report it to the FBI or other non USA organization just in case there not legit they guy sound like he was in India judging buy the noise in the background of the call  85553354567

An Indian guy called me saying the same thing about giving me $7000 from the government and not to use it for anything illegal.  I asked him for some examples of such illegal activities to toy with him and he eventually hung up.  Poor sport, haha.

I got the same call from the number 8555 335 4567 and was told that i have a government grant in the amount 0f $7,0000 since I paid my bills on time.  the Lady told me all I had to do was call 206-317-1607  and give them the Id number they gave me to get the money.  She also asked question to verify me and I told her I was not giving her any of my information.  She said all I have to do was call the number and get the money.  I said thank you and said thanks again for the scam.

A lady with an Asian accent called me from a noisy location, saying that my name and number has been selected by the government for reasons I could not hear. I told her to repeat the reason and she hung up. One, why would a governmental program hang up on me; and two, why would a governmental program hire somebody to call me on Thanksgiving? A possible scam.

Called my cell number and asked me if I could get to my computer because they received an error msg and they could help me fix it.  I said no thank you and they said "Are you on your computer?"  Again I said "No"  He said "Go over to your computer now"  Again I said "NO, and please take my number off your list.  He said "I will call you later."

This number has been harassing my partner and I , there is a 7 on the end of the last digit of the number (on the 5456 part) making this particular phone number to block on our digital phone manager. They are Indian Telemarketing Scammers who keep calling us every 5 to 15 minutes with some product they are trying to pitch to us.


We are on the do not call list.

I got a call from this number too. Sounded like some old guy with a French accent. Asked for my info for government grant eligibility. I told him why he wanted my info and he told me he couldn't. I ask him it was my info and I deserve the right to know. He keeps telling me he can't in a very unpleasant manner. I told him to stop being an a***ole because you sound like one. He say " f**k you and I replied " yeah why dont you shove that mouth up your a hole and go f**k yourself"

this JERK who claimed to be Jack Smith told me to suck his d**k, I can only imagine what kind of business this is

That's funny they told me they were "United States Healthcare" wanting my medical information & identity... Yea like that's gonna happen.

Thats funny because my call was about my computer acting up and they could fix it for me if I typed in a few commands. Obviously a scam, I know better than to give someone access to all my computer files!!

Got a call from 855 533 54567 saying they are giving me a government grant awarding me 7,000$ since I pay all my bills on time and haven't filed for bankruptcy in last 6 months. All I had to do was call the number they were going to give me and I would receive the money. I said it was a scam and they hung up. Don't answer this number!
