My wife just called me about a call she received at her school from an "Ed Post" concerning a debt from a company called the St. Armand Group, and this character's company was the U.R.G., or (after my wife asked him specifically) the United Receivables Group.  He told her it was about a loan she supposedly had taken out on May 24, 2011, for $510 (strange figure), via her Yahoo email address.  First of all, we haven't done ANY online payday loans since 2006, and we paid all of those legitimate companies off!   Now that I have the name of the company, an agent of that company, and his extension (X321...yeah, right), I have plenty of information to report it to the F.T.C. and the F.C.C., not to mention blocking them on my home phone!  These Asian syndicates just don't know when to give up, praying on Americans, especially senior citizens, who are easy marks for these unscrupulous hoods!

Same number is now used to announce that I've won a prize. Of course its bogus. They don't name a sponsor or what the prize is or when exactly I entered. Beware of these clowns!

These people have called me and said they are going to file papers against me and come to my home or work claiming that serious charges are being filed against me.  I tell them I have reported them and they say, "well we're sorry you are not taking us seriously.  We can take care of this if you send us money today."  This is a TOTAL scam.  I have told them to bring it on.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY!!!!!

I have reported these people to the FCC, FCT, and put filled out a formal complaint with my local police department with the name of the women calling and the phone numbers of 860-516-4691 and 855-575-1334.  It's to bad people are trying to scam other people out of there hard earned money.  Do not give these people any informaiton or money.  Major low lifes!!!!

I got the same call today saying I was in trouble and going to be served. They even called my wife and mother-in-law! Not going to return the call...very unprofessional!

Just got a call from this number also claming they had papers and were going to bring then to my house or meet me,  Even called my work.  What a scam!!!

just got a call from them too I did have an old payday loan I called the original debt company and they were nice enough to talk to me and said to ignore them that they sold the loan off and they were scare tactics and that they could not do anything. They said the same thing to me that i would go in front of a judge and fraud. They are just a bunch of bottom feeders. I actually tried to pay the original company and they could not take it so they said you can't by law go to jail by defaulting on a payday loan. So anyone else called by these jerks ignore them.

i received a call from this company stating i owed a payday loan debit... and if i didn't pay i was going to jail... they even called back and told my daughter that her mother was in big trouble and that she better get my message to me and and have me call before the end of the day or she was coming to the house to take me to jail!!! i know what this person did all this it had to be a scam!!! deit collectors can not act this way... i had my husband call from (mind you he is a police officer) his PD and to see if they were for real(just in case i was going crazy) and they told him they were filing charges... he said um no and hung up... they have not called back..... please beware of this number....
