My brother in another state that a VA and has a lot of illnesses got a call from this number and had a harrasing message saying that they are investigating a case on me and to tell me to call gave him a case number and my brother got really nervous and had to be taken to VA hospital my brother just got his home phone num 3 days ago since he just moved there and I never has used him to any of my references what can I do now my sister is really mad at me and blame for it. help please and I call that num and it does said Compact Solution and I search the num and is the same as NCO.

NCO is a multi-million dollar collection agency. No where that I have found at least is Compact Solutions a part of them. I could be wrong, or it could just be well hidden. Hope this helps.

Is compact solutions a part of NCO Financial?  He mentioned something about a mediation.  I'm trying to do some research on Compact Solutions.  Anyone have information on this company, please comment.

same has happened to me as in all of the above. i callled and told them to send any such correspondence in writting and i wouk\ld tke it to my attorney, the info they have is not my  SS # wrong, DOB wrong . You cannot serve someone over the phone it is illegal and these are scare tacticts.I told them this conversation was being recorded and I was going to the FDIC and the Attorney general with there messages. this is all illegal collection tacticts,

I received a message from a Jack Ryan 855 593 0070 stating that he is to locate my employment or residence to serve me papers in reference to a loan taken out in 2009.  I called the number back and spoke with Rick Jameson and I asked  to speak to someone in management, he would not transfer me to anyone.  He told me that he was in charge and the only other person above him was the attorney.  I asked to speak to the attorney and he refused to give me a name and would not transfer the call.  But he did say that the attorney would not want to speak with me.

It's not a scam if the debt exists, but there are collection laws that need to be followed. Double check with the FDCPA. But don't use it as a crux not to pay your bills.

My husband got a message on his work phone stating that research showed he knew or was related to my daughter. She has had some credit issues in the past & has received other calls like this that she has paid without even knowing whether or not it's a legit company.  I think if you are in this situation, they just are just preying on people eager to clear up their credit. It's a scam.

I got this official sounding message from Jonathan Roberts for someone not at my phone# that I've never heard of about an order for bad checks and to consider myself served. What a crock!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from this number and said that I need to be served papers at my home or my job.  I received the call at my place of employment. They never told me who they were and what company they were representing.  I tried to call the return number and there was no answer.

Got a call from this number asking for my husband. He wasn't home so I asked if they wanted to leave a message. The caller said it was in reference to an individual who we know. The person is usually in trouble with the law. The caller said it was about bad checks? I took the number and told them I would have him call them back. We aren't sure what to do?

Called at work. Very rude and arrogant about trying to make me pay. His last word was "Good Luck"

Called and said that they had a summons for me, and I needed to call and give a release. When I asked what this was about, she told me that they couldn't give me any information, just said "good luck"

fraudulent call I have been scammed before the person keeps switching area codes

left a msg on my phone about some investigation.  when I called back voice msg says company is "Compact Solutions"???  some man answerd the phone and didn't identify himself or his company;  questioned me about finding someone, but wouldn't give any details; was rather rude

Called and said that they were serving me w/ legal documents and I had to call and give a release. They wouldn't tell me what it was for. If you can't tell me what it is for, I'm not calling and giving any information!

are these people legit

some type of legal papers bs they didnt give the name of the company
so its not on the up and up prop some crook collection agency

had a process server call me about a summons for some kind of case against me the guy gave me that number I was really confuse when i called they explained it was about a check on a loan i had taken out a couple years ago they company was trying to sue me for 1,400 and they got me a settlement for 950 never been so relieved in my life

They said there was an investigation being done but I was unable to get anyone on the phone when I returned the call.

they called me at work, my parents too.  I was told that I had to fax a "cease and desist" request to their fax number which I gladly agreed to do.  His last words were also "Good Luck".  Sounds like a joke of a company to me.

i got this call from this number saying my daughter was being sued and then when the man found out i wasnt her he put me on hold and it disconnected i have tried to call it back but it rings once and nothing..Who is this and why ?
