they called me at work also saying they need to collect on a pay day loan. they said they were going to serve me court papers if i didn't pay them. they are not legal at all. I called leagal aide they can't do anything about a pay day loan but but it on your credit. Beware of these people.

called my work and threated me with some papers to be delivered to work or my home in 45 min. didnt know what he was talking about and then he said i would have to appear in california court house in 1-2 days.then he waNTED ME TO PAY 200.00, NO HE SAID I NEEDED TO PAY 300.00  in 3 week payments or he would garnish my wages right now........... i said no he said someone would be at my house in 20 min, then he hung up.

DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE.  HANG UP THE PHONE.  Both the FTC and the FBI are aware of these degenerates.  If they do continue to call your work, let your HR person know what is going on.

This company has a "locator" that calls to threaten you to pay.  When he wouldn't tell me who he was or who he was with I hung up on him.  He turned right around and called my elderly Grandparents and telling them that I was in big trouble and that they needed to pay the past debt for me.  I finally tracked down this company.  It is called Global (according to the woman on the phone) I looked them up and they are a large debt collection company that subcontracts seveal smaller debt collection agencies all over the U.S.  They wanted me to pay a debt but would not provide me with any documentation on this debt.  I was told that I would be served documents and have to appear in court.  The "locator" also left a message on my work voice mail.  A recorded message that stated "you have been served" and was intended to sound all scary.  If you can not provide someone with actual proof of a debt owed, then why would ANYONE give someone on the other end of the phone money?

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM A "LOCATOR" SAYING THAT I NEEDED TO CALL THIS NUMBER 855-659-0701.  I CALLED MY ATTORNEY FIRST AND HE SAID TO RECORD THE CONVERSATION AND ADVISE THEM THAT THE CALL IS BEING RECORDED.  SO I CALLED THE NUMBER AND TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS BEING RECORDED FOR MY ATTORNEY AND HE SAID HE WILL NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR THE CONVERSATION TO BE RECORDED.  I TOLD THEM THAT IF I HAD CHARGES AGAINST ME THAT I HAVE A RIGHT TO ATTORNEY AND HE SAID YES YOU DO BUT I DO NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO RECORD.  TOLD HIM I WOULD HAVE MY ATTORNEY CALL THEM AND HE SAID THAT HE WOULD NOT TALK TO MY ATTORNEY.  HE FINALLY GOT SO MAD THAT HE SAID HE WOULD NOTIFY THE LOCATOR AND HAVE THEM SERVE ME THE PAPERS.  TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!  AND SCUM!!!!!  DONT FALL INTO THERE TRAP!!!!!!!!!!

I was called into my manager's office. He said I needed to listen to something. It was a voicemail from a guy named Max. He stated that he was "officially" notifying me and my manager that I had charges and a claim against me. He left this number, and again stated " consider yourself notified". I called the number and asked for Max. Patricia who answered the phone said she could help me. I asked her nicely to not call my place of employment because it was getting me in trouble. She said she didn't slow they had but that it was a private locater and without payment they could not release him. I told her it was harassment and she hung up.

I just got a call at work, the guy never gave his name. He called my HR person first and left a voicemail saying I had a claim against me. Then he called back asking for me, proceeded to tell me he would be at my place of employment in one hour. He said he didn't want to just show up without me knowing (how thoughful) Then he told me to call 855-659-0701 and they would give me the information. I asked who 'they" were, he said "Global" and asked if I'd been contacted by them yet, of course I said no. He said, well call them and I will call you back in 45 min to get the documents you need. "You have officially been notified". When I asked his name, he hung up on me. SCAM!

I recieved the same call from Rachel with the exact same verbiage...Scare Tactic

I received the same exact call by a woman name Rachel,who threatened me about serving me papers,at my place of employment and my home,I just ignored the the and she keeps calling,she doesn't leave the name of the company or attorney name!

I just got a call from them also.  The woman threatened my staff with "papers" and then threatened me with "charges."  I am a paralegal in a law office.  I know they cannot do this.  When I asked her name, etc., she said, "Good Luck" and hung up.  Then I called a company called "Global" who claim to have bought a payday loan from another company.  I said I will not verify that I had a loan but I will be glad to look over any paperwork you send.  Of course, they don't want to do that.  Then another woman came on and threatened me with "pursuing charges" and "serving papers", so I said fine, I'd meet her outside.  She said "good luck" and hung up.  So I am pretty sure that even though she denied knowledge of the rude woman and blamed a "third-party locator" that this was the same woman.  I filed an FTC complaint.

I just got the same call.  In the background I can hear others talking.  He said his name was John and that I had one oppurtunity to resolve this matter. This is such a scare tactic.

I just got the same call. The reason for the calling like this is if anyone has had pay day loans. In which I do and never paid them, I began working with a law office and they let me know that in the state of MA it is actually illegal from some to offer payday loans but people do it by doing online options. I have been calls from these folk and they will not stop. and I wont answer... So I get a phone call about papers being served.. They will do everything in their power to get you to pay up. I will not pay because I am working with a law office who has been trying to reach out to this team the AUTOBahn group... They will prefer me paying versus dealing with a third party..

I got a similar call. I called back. I was annoyed. I think I pissed the guy off. Knowing my luck they can trace the number. Thought I'd just post for other people.

This company called me to with the same information and for me to the call about a claim or they will be serving paper works. Furthermore there was no company name or attorney calling me. He stated his name is john davis and was not giving me no other inforamtion because he is a private locator. I will get served in 24 hrs, he will be contacting my job and serving documents.

This company just called me. At work and couldn't answer, so they left a voicemail. Stated they need to verify my address to serve an order that was "placed" this morning, and that I have "one opportunity" to call and then said, "You have been notified." ... I have no orders/judgments or anything against me, no outstanding debts...and am intelligent enough to know that an actual court order would be served, without prior notice via voicemail. Furthermore, there was no company name, no attorney name, just a woman stating her name was "Rachel." *sigh* Try again.
