I got a call from a Jacob Moss saying he was need me to call and make a affidavidy concerning a civil matter that has my SS and name involved.  Yes most of us have debts from either past mistakes or divorce or helping a person.  There is no reason to  scare people into collecting a debt.  They can get in trouble for harrassing you or threatning you.  I called the clerk at the courthouse and nothing has been filled in my name and she even told me people who want to take you to court just do that.  If your involved in a crime the police will show up at your doorstep not phone calls.  I ignored this call if they want to take me to court then I will see them there.  I am inocent until proven guilty thats our court system.

i got a call too... was wrong # ... chances are they probably have a wrong # listed for an individual they have to serve if ur getting a call... im not sure how that works. but it must be such a hassle for someone to call back and let them know they have the wrong # like i did, eh? it was simple. told them the # that was called - they said someones name i didn't know, and i havent gotten a call since.  its really not that big of a deal. if its the wrong # how are they to know if u don't contact them and tell them so ?  am curious to know what this is about thou. hope its not for any judgements or liens or anything  . i had a judgement once, they garnished my wages after a while for some s*** that happened years ago.  thats the only reason why i call back these places.

And even more good news...He said it was his final attempt!!   I guess you are no longer being ordered to  "make yourself available"   yea!!     I really,  really hate these dirtbags...

Got a message from this number this a.m.  Fella didn't identify himself or say who he was trying to reach.  Said "I will be making a final attempt today to serve a summons, please make yourself available.  If you have any questions please contact the filing party at 855-678-0746.  Thank you and have a nice day".  At least he was polite.

This number called me again today to advise they have a summons in hand and I am to make myself available so they can serve the summons.  Did not use my name or theirs. Said he is a lawyer??  Don't think so!

I received the same message from this number as Ann on 01/19/13.  Sounds totally fraudulent to me, but I'm not sure how to report the scam.  I'm sure plenty of people will fall for it and compromise their identities in the process.

I received a call today from the same number. A woman named Amber Clark. She stated, she is calling from "Legal Outsourcing. My office has been assigned to a affidavit that has been filed in your name & social security number in your jurisdiction. You need to contact our firm regarding the numerous allegations that are currently pending". She doesn't even ask for me specifically!...What the heck!

AS IN 'JUSTIN'S' CASE, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY; A WOMAN, PAM', LEFT A MESSAGE STATING THAT SHE WAS A 'PARALEGAL' AND THAT MY SS NUMBER WAS ATTACHED TO TWO "CIVIL" MATTERS:  1) BOUNCED CHECK, 2) POSSIBLE FRAUD, AND THAT I NEEDED TO CONTACT THEM BEFORE LEGAL RELIEF PAPERS WERE FORWARDED TO MY 'LOCAL JURISDICTION'...NO COMPANY NAME, DID NOT IDENTIFY ME BY NAME, ETC, ETC...."CIVIL" MATTERS??? IN MY STATE, A BOUNCED CHECK AND POSSIBLE FRAUD QUALIFY AS 'CRIMINAL' ACTS, NOT SOMETHING TWO PARTIES CAN HASH OUT IN 'CIVIL COURT'

I have had this call several times already. They are from "Legal Outsourcing". They tell this to get your attention to call them back. They are a collection agency and do anything to get your attention, even lie. Can you believe that they are lawyers? someone put my na,e on their application for money somewhere and didn't pay.

Who is using this number to call me?

Also, claimed that the suit is being filed in my country, but doesn't name the county or state.

Considering that I have received numerous calls in search of a Ricky Clark, from legitimate law enforcement entities, who apparently has been listing my number as his, I am ignoring this.

Caller left message saying a bank account with my SS number is associated with a fraudulent bank transaction. Claimed that a suit is being filed and that I or my attorney needs to call them ASAP.

Doesn't ask for my name, doesn't name my bank.

Caller gives his name as Jonathan Stewart (or Stuart).

Caller presumes this is the correct phone number associated with the individual this case is about.

Fishy. Sounds like an organization either trying to get me to reveal information about myself, or is masking as a debt collector.
