It's not charter. they call me and I never had charter. I also had the same number for over 8 years so I don't see how they could have the wrong number

One of the parties involved is a Nevada state senator who attempted to evict me from an apartment I was renting while being treated for cancer and suffering the spinal injury that was intentionally inflicted. It is very difficult to get help when the parties involved are so politically powerful and unrelenting as they impoverish you by stealing all you have and then attack in force. Nobody has the courage or will to fight the powerful as they prefer to work for them instead.

Getting unwanted calls. Many parties have reported bogus debt as a means to put liens on property had a means to basically fraudulently take it many times in court actions where they win simply because they never notified me, thus receiving default judgement then stealing my cars, property, committing identity theft then having to unbelievable gull to report me to various agencies as if I committed the crimes they committed.  What I have been put through as a means to steal my hard earned money and property as well as monies owed me is absolutely unbelievable. They even caused me to suffer an acute severe spinal injury and the insurance company and other nefarious parties involved stole then money through deceptive means and refused me necessary medical care which resulted in an acute lifetime painful injury. In this case they stole my identity, switched out vin numbers and again tried to frame me for their crimes.   Anyway, at least now I will report the various parties who cause the damage, falsely report debt, ruin my credit and steal everything I've worked for all my life.

Yeah, I got the same message about that they were asking for a person I do not know.
However, I started to get other phone calls for similar numbers like

Keep calling me too! They had  a lot of my personal information . Posed as a law firm and told me I was eligible to receive a settlement as part of a class action lawsuit. But of course they needed me to pay a "claim fee" .i tried to get all the information on them as possible. They didn't like that very much though.
The ONLY way they have my private number and my information is through  my dentist's office.
Just because it's against the law to sell our personal info doesn't mean it can't happen. I Just imagine how many victims they already have.

yes , the companies that you owe to, can and in most instances use collection agencies to collect debt, they also sometimes sell their debt for 80 percent and the collection companies collect if they can.

They say i owe money like 14 bucks and if i wanted to pay now i say HELL NO.!!!!!!
They say they are from time warner cable i belive is bogus.....

you're just about totally wrong on your response. the company you owe can't collect the debt from you they then sell the debt to a 3rd party debt collector for pennies on the dollar. that debt collector has access to all previous older info that might help them collect the debt.

I registered my name on the Do Not Call registry. However, this
number called me 2x and it is horrific that these people get away
with lies and deception.

Great - so do you know the name of the company?  It would be really helpful to other posters if they could see who it was rather than "debt company".

In addition to my post before, it is literally some man and woman calling from there couch hoping to panic you into paying them. And they will probobly have your address, account number everything to sound legit including the phone prompts press one for English, background noise to sound as though you've reached a call center. Don't buy it! As I said again tell them the conversation is being recorded and that you are calling the police. No one can collect from you except the original place you owe the debt to. The cable company as an example hired an idiot as this because they figure whatever this idiot pays them for your info is more than they may get out of you for your past due due account AND the IDIOT who illegally buys your information does so because you wouldn't believe how many people panic and pay them because they don't know better.

Here's the deal: If you owe a company money lets say cable bill anything, it is Illegal for them to sell your info to anyone to try to collect your delinquent bill. It is Illegal for anyone to purchase this info as well and they have no legal rights to collect anything from you because you've never Owed THEM anything. Do NOT pay them anything. They Will try to collect from you even go as far as calling your family members etc. Tell them you are calling the police and they will NEVER call again.

This place is legit. Its a collection agency. My sparkletts bill went to collections :(

I get 2 to 3 calls a day from this number 855 691 0191 and when I call back,  there is always a busy signal.   Who are these people anyway?  

I've been getting calls on my cell from this company using 855 691-0191, 0192, 0193, 0194, and 0195.
Answered twice at first, no one responded. Answered twice more, got the recorded message to wait on the line for the next available customer service rep. nuh uh- I am on a minute pay plan, I do NOT wait on the phone for anyone!
So- today, I had enough! I called the number from my landline. The man who answered told me he would remove my number and before I could even give him my cell number, he hung up, so I called back. This time, the woman who answered was very thorough, listened to what I said, asked a couple questions, then assured me that my number was removed (although it *could* take 2-3 business days).
We shall see...

Unwanted

I have been called by this number daily. It is automated and asks for a person I have never heard of and to press 1 for English, which I never have. It is driving me crazy!

I am receiving repeated phone calls from this number at all times of day and evening.  I have no idea who is calling.  No message is ever left on my voice mail.   Says call is from another country

I get called by these guys all the time. they dont leave a message... Just an automated call asking to press 1 for english.

I answered just now and they asked to speak to some person. of course i asked why they were calling and they responded, "we cannot give out any information about the reason for this call unless i'm speaking to so-and-so, are they available?" I said, "sorry i can't give that information for the same reasons" i then  asked who do you work for and got the same response.

Even if it is you they are asking for do not give them your name if they do not give you theirs. Remember Dont speak to strangers, kids lol.

Just got a call on my cell from this number, called them back on my home phone and the woman answered hello, I said I just got a call from you who are you, she said hold on, then said we called you by mistake, I said who are you and she said no one.   Oh brother.

No voicemail left so went ahead and dialed the number back. It says that they are in search of a woman named Linda, we'll I have had my number for quite some time and my name isn't Linda. I asked the woman, Gwennet, to remove me from their solitations for money. She said ok.. Still gonna block the number.

Got a call from this number today. The last few days I've received calls from 0192 and 0193 and I suspect those are related to this 0191 number. Today I decided to pick up the phone. Instead of a live person responding, I got a message that told me to dial "1" for English. Out of amusement, I pressed "1". Guess what? I heard nothing. Then the line when dead. So yes, as KC mentions, if the call was legitimate, the caller would leave a message.

My question is, I picked up the phone and I still don't know who this company is. ???

Called from  855-691-0195  CID unavailable and talked so fast could not understand most of what she said.  Looking for someone at my number and said to call back (855) 691-0191 ext 52something.  I think she said collection ?????

The way I see it, is if it is a valid call, they would leave me a message.  I do not answer calls I do not recognize, and if they do not leave a message, I do not return calls.

I don't even know what company they claim to be with....

I got someone to answer...I told them that more than once I've told people from this company that Joe doesnt own this number and to stop the computer from calling me.  She said that she would take my number out of the computer, but they've said that 3 times before. So, my question is:  who holds on the line for a collections call?
