This company violates every single rule in the FDCPA. Calling at 6:30 A.M,demanding money for a debt that you don't owe, say the SHERIFF is coming to your work,  then insists they are not "debt collectors".

They say you are going to jail over $300? LOL. This is NOT going to happen.

They do not give out their address, probably because they realize that "simulating judicial process" is a MISDEMEANOR in CA, and can result in 6 months in jail for violating CC §1788.16.

DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING. THEY ARE A SCAM. ALERT THE FTC and IC3 Department of the FBI.

Perhaps you were supposed to gulp hard and quiver your lip and burble about how you would do anything to avoid a court date, even pay some phantom debt. You're right, it is insane what these rogue collectors think we'll lay down for. If you can obtain a valid mailing address, send a ''cease communication'' notice via USPS Certified with return card. This is the method promoted by the FTC and many consumer watchdogs, who will explain how you can do some damage if that notice is ignored.

.  Guy by phoney name of tom Peterson called and left message at 612 AM aboutcalling from "the firm" and to call 855 746-1473 re the formal claim against me stating their giving me the chance to talk to them before they come to my physical address. Also said final notification. Well this is the fifth call from them in last week stating same thing BEFORE 7 AM.  Ftc guidelines specifically state collection calls not before 8 am.  Filing complaint!

I received a smiliar call from a man who was very rude saying that I had a claim against me and that I should call him. He called me from a different number but told me to call 855-746-1473.

this company called and left a message at my fathers house that i have been officially notified of a claim against me , for what i don't know . they just left this 855-746-1473 number and a claim no. , no company name or what the claim was for . She did leave her name it was Stacy Allen . She talked so fast i had to listen to it 4 times to make it out,  I think its crap!!!

Received a call at my office from a man at 310-982-2643 telling me there is a claim against me and to call 855-746-1473.  He was rude and and would not tell me anything except to call the "company" regarding a claim aganist me and he gave me a case number.

I called 855-746-1473 which turned out to be a company called Global.  The lady I sopke with asked me if I received the dcouments they sent me to an address in Rosemead.  I told her that I have never lived in Rosemead and that I had no idea what this claim was for. She asked for the last four numbers of my social security number, which I gave her.  At this point she pots me on hold, comes back and tells me the numbers dont match and if I receive the documents to bring them to court along with proof of who I am. I again told her I wasn't the person she was looking for and since I did not live at the address I would not be getting any documents.  I again asked her wat this was about and she said she could not give me any information since the social security numbers don't match but to show up in court if I receive the documents.  This is insane!   I'm assuming it's a debt collecter but I'm not the person they are looking for.  I'm not sure what I should do at this time.

This company continues to harass me at my job.
