Had a call from 406-629-9117 looking for my Uncle- said he had a complaint against him and they needed to talk to him within the hour or a summons  would be sent out to his home or work, to call 1-855-274-8026 and reference a "case number"... SCAM!! Don't call!!! If a court is going to summons you, no phone call will help!!!!!

THIS PLACE IS TOTAL B***S***. THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS NOT A LAW FIRM. IGNORE ALL OF THEIR PHONE CALLS THEY LEGALLY CANT DO S*** BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE ANY TYPE OF AFFILIATION WITH THE LAW.

Had a call from them asking for my mom I obviously said I didn't know the person.

Thanks to all the people that made a comment. I almost gave in if I had not did some research online and found this. They called my sister from this number 855.250.6589 and gave her a reference number stating that I need to call back in a hour or else they would serve me papers at my job. They kept mentioning about a law suit that they have against me. They wanted me to make a payment over the phone with them with a credit card and they told me that they dont receive western union. They gave me contact names of Robert Givens and Madison Scott. Wow this is crazy that people are full of so many scams to receive money. If its a lie you will pay for what you are trying to do to all these people. You reep what you sow just keep that in mind.

I received a call from this number(855)785-2514 stating that I would be summons to court for a old cell phone bill back in 2004 at Sprint. Sprint have not sent me anything concerning this bill! They are going to call back on Monday April the 21st to see if they can collect $212.34 which is have of the $400 & some odd dollars left to pay in another two weeks or so! I think this is a scam and so I'm reporting this in case it is a scam! Would someone please contact me if you know anything about this company-UNCI Collection company that's trying to threaten me if I don't pay this money then when going to court; they will tack 1 or 2,000 dollars on the fee and also they said that they will siege all of my bank accounts and get my job to send money from my job check to pay! They just called me and wanted to speak to my son.  The woman said that he was going to be served a summons and they needed to speak with him immediately.  They gave me this #855-785-2514 along with a file number.  The woman would not answer any questions and said that my son had one hour to call the number or he would be served at home or at his place of work.  If the courts are going to serve you, they are going to serve you.  Glad that I didn't fall for the scam.  (I have also noted this on the number from which she called 718-807-4745.

(718)807-4745 called.  They wanted to speak to my brother who never lived here.  He stated that he is involved with a litigation and a summons needed to be served.  I told him he doesn't reside here and you have to personally serve their residence because I have personally process serve people myself.  The scammer then game me a callback number (855)785-2514 and ref # cr?????.

I requested his company, not allowed to give because of privacy rules.  Don't be the one % who falls for the bag of crap.

1-855-785-2514 Caller UNCI , They call my ex husband stating that somenone made a complaint about me and give them a Reference number . made it seem like a legal issue to him. I call immediately (from work) When I call the nasty individual is threatning me with law suit, court date, garnishment of salary, over a "2004 debt" from Verizon (who has not sent me a bill) and now the debt is almost $400 and he states that if the money is not paid immediately , we will be in court and then I will have to pay close to $2,000 and they will garnish 25% of my salary. The attitude and tone of voice were were very mean, offering no alternatives and extremely rude, sarcastic and a total as.h..e.

Having been involved in several situations where I was serving or being served, let them find the person they are looking for. If they find you and can serve you, it's a real case.
This number 718-807-4745 and a Robert Mitchell (sp?) was looking for my brother.  I told him I may deliver a message and he left a number 855-785-2514 that goes to http://www.uncigroup.com/contact.html which according to reports on the web is a ripoff.
If this is real they have to serve papers according to the state of the party, in this case MA law requires a Constable to serve papers.  So, I call BS on this.

They sent a message through my son. I called them and they wanted my social security number. Of course I told them I didn't give it out over the phone and they said well, we aren't going to tell you about the lawsuit then and hung up. Lawsuit for what? I owe a couple hospital bills from last week. I haven't even received the bills yet, so it's unlikely them. I don't owe anyone else anything.

Nice try shill!  I don't believe you and I call BS.  First, there are complaints all over the Internet about UNCI and "locators" calling with the same exact angle.  Funny how everyone else (except a few shills who got flushed out) claims they were harassed, didn't owe the debt that the harassment was over, and were never even served papers.

What makes your attempt even more pathetic is that you claim you want to be helpful and share your experience to help others, yet manage to take a pot shot at the BBB (who claims UNCI does not respond to consumer complaints).  You provide no information about the alleged debt itself and are very vague on the "court" details

They called my parents and said I needed to contact them for a summons and before anyone came to my work or sent any info to my address then I needed to contact them. I called and he said u need to verify your social. I said no way if I have an account. number then I don't need to verify my social. that it could be a scam and he laughed and said I wouldn't have your social if it was a scam. He wouldn't give me any info at all...

Identity thieves. Process servers will NEVER call you before serving papers on you. I've received the same threats. They are just phishing. They never call from any good number. Almost always calls from a 'sprint' 'magic hack" or a "tcast" company landline. Never a legitimate office. The BBC has many complaints from these scammers.
Next time they call just ignore it and let it go to voicemail. If they threaten you take the voicemail to the police IMMEDIATELY. Criminal charges can be pressed against them.

I just got a call from these people stating they were trying to find someone that I know. They claim that he left my phone number (which he doesn't have) for a reference number. He has been incarcerated for more than 30 years. I tried to talk to them about this but they refused to talk to me. I told them that it wasn't possible that he owed anyone anything and they said it wasn't a debt collection and that the nature of the file doesn't allow them to speak to me and to have him call. I repeated again that he was incarcerated and can not call. They wouldn't tell me anything else.

look up this number- 888-236-2416, it lays out who the company is and their illegal practices, they called relatives of mine threatening they needed to serve a summons to me, but they can't find me??? they were making it seem as though it was an immediate legal matter, when actually it has to do w debt that is not even mine since identity theft happened to me--- like years ago! dont bother wasting your time on them or worrying about it, since it took me an hour to find the unci thread on here, i still can't find it on google so i guess they could just be random identity thieves, i wouldnt give them any personal info. the other number i listed is for them n has good info n links to file compaints about harrasment n your legal rights. hope this helps
