Wels Fargo is into a lot of things and one of them is debt collection; any FDCPA violations could land them in hot water.

Wells Fargo trying to sell appliance insurance. Really?? You won't negotiate my WF mortgage but you will sell me appliance insurance. What a joke! Hopefully the calls will stop since I picked up the phone today. I hate WF, sorry to those of you that work there.

STOP CALLING EVERY 5 MINUTES!!

ANNOYANCE CALLS...something should be done about this.

Calls all the time using various numbers.  All say 800 Service in my caller id.  Never leaves a message on my answering machine.

I called the number back and asked to be removed    Easy to do and you don't have to talk to anyone

855 isn't fake, it's a new toll free prefix. I called it today, they said to allow 5 days for the removal to be processed and up to 30 days for your number to be totally removed from the system. Fairly easy to do.

When you call the number back, if you listen further, there is an option to remove your telephone number from ALL internal solicitations.  I believe it is option number 3.  Again, this may take up to 30 days.  We were pre-approved on a home loan from them a while ago, so I presume this is how they obtained my office number.

Received a call from this number. Answered and they hung up.

Seems to be more of the Well Fargo sellers.

This is Wells Fargo calling with a "special promotion".  Very easy to be removed from caller list by calling back the number and following the prompts.

Unfortunately, even if you have your number removed, it can take up to "30 days" for Wells Fargo to stop calling you.

Called my home this afternoon, silence on the other end when i picked up, so i hung up.

Why would wells fargo use a number with an area code that is fake and thus can not be blocked? I belive it is wells fargo and is very anoying. I realy don't care the ringer is off and I have other options. I will say if you add this number to your blocked numbers in your fax machine, your fax machine will be the blocker for you by hanging up on the call after 1 ring. I did this and it works for all the bougus numbers that can't be blocked by your phone provider services because it is not a valid number. your fax on the other hand only knows what numbers to block from it answering too, very cool huh? if you are woried about your number popping back to them well they have it anyway let them listine to the lovely fax machine music. but if you block it it wont even answer those numbers. Hope this helps. I hate when a bussiness trys to be sneeky bet they sell our numbers to. after having done bussiness with them my amout of harrasing calls went up alot. If you have the fax and they are really calling alot try it. I have caller id on my computer so I get one ring there and I close the box. No need for my ringer.

Is Wells Fargo is a debt collection and or a junk debt buyer?

Number is from Wells Fargo.
They have phoned me 13 times in less than 2 weeks. I have called them back and placed them on my "do not call me" list. Their voice mail stated it may be 30 days before request for them to stop calling me goes through. This is the THIRD time I have asked them to stop calling me.

I work full time but get courious about numbers on my caller Id and research them. Our phones are becoming more and more dangerous to us as consumers. please check your caller ids before you pick up I am willing to bet this number gets ansering machines and each time the party called get a new charge on their phone bill. I have unpluged my aswering machine and do not use it any more with all the calls like these and the spoofing calls i can not chance another call like the ones everyday from this number. You can't block this "855" number they want to be able to call you and others. On pick up to this caller you will be charged for the very long distant call. want to pay 5,000. a call? just pick up. I need to call the phone company and get more charges off my bill.

As stated by others, it is Wells Fargo trying to sell something.  Calling the number back gets to an automated system that allows for the option to be removed from their database.  

But it only for  "this"  promotion.  

And there is the 5 day delay before the calls are expected to end.

So we can expect to receive calls for a few more days now,    
and
get calls again in the future for a future different promotion.

these people call several times a day. please block the calls.
no more emails either.  I consider this harrassment

This is a scam.  Beware!  Dangerous!

Yes it is Wells Fargo, promoting various services.  They have been calling me at work for about two years. They call about once a day at very random times without leaving a message until they finally get a hold of me.  Every time I talk to them I ask them to remove my number from their marketing list; if I don't talk to them I call back and use the automated removal system.  They immediately stop calling, but then a month or so later I'll get a brand new barrage of calls for a different promotion.  So they seem to completely toss out the number removal requests every month or so.

WELLS FARGO MARKETING-IF YOU DIAL THE NUMBER BACK THEY GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO REMOVE YOUR NUMBER FROM THEIR DATABASE. DON'T KNOW IF THIS WORKS OR NOT. MESSAGE SAYS GIVE THEM 5 DAYS TO PROCESS AND 30 DAYS BEFORE YOU ARE COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM GETTING CALLS.  WE'LL SEE!!!

855-812-0320 calls early mornings and late nights but there is no one on the other end. They hang up when placed on a recorder but never speak up when answered. Very annoying harassment. record searches show they are from Wells Fargo.

They wait for the machine to pick up, wait five seconds, then hang up.  Very annoying.
