I received a voice mail from Craig Touma saying he is calling about fraud alert on my social security number so i should call him back immediately.  I will not call back or answer such calls.  I will report anyway possible, also put a fraud alert on all three sites.

Igot a call from this number and he said his name is jack deneils.

I have gotten repeated calls from this idiot who uses a different name every time but it is the same voice. They are calling a number listed on the do not call list so now they are in violation of federal laws for that as well as scmming.

I too have been contacted from the 855-826-7861 number by the name of Leo Carter (he calls himself a Deputy).  Unfortunately for me I did take out a loan and did not pay it back.  I thought he called regarding that dept.  He kept calling my work number (I thought it was legit because he had that number) over and over again and it became a problem.  I told him not to call my work and gave him my phone number (BIG MISTAKE!!!)  He said my debt was over $5,000 and that they could settle for $1095.00.  I was required to pay $200.00 set up fee, the $1095.00 and an extra $250.00 to close my file.  Like a dummy, I did pay through a green dot money pack card.  Now I thought it was over. NOOOOO.  He called back and said another case had come through his desk and I owed another $5,500.00 and that they could settle it for $1095.00.  I then became suspicious and starting investigating it further through the number -855-826-7861 and had many complaints about the scam.  I feel stupid and embarrsed but hope that other people do not fall prey to these ruthless Indian people who's English is poor so it's hard to understand what they are saying.  I'm hoping by calling them on Monday, and tell them I am going to report them to the FBI and Attorney General these threatening calls will stop.

Got call that I picked up, Indian sounding accent man went through the whole bullsh=t scam about a supposed payday loan that I have defaulted on and they will be sending the police to arrest me at my place of work. I let him go through his spiel and then started asking questions about this supposed loan. Could not give me any actual info. I then told him I thought what he was doing was deplorable, trying to scam people like me on SSDI, who is barely surviving as it is. Told him I would be reporting this phone number and him and hung up. He actually tried to call me back with several different numbers over the next few minutes: 855-826-7861, 866-921-9717, 855-806-6643. These numbers all seem to be from same scammers.

DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR INFO ON INTERNET FOR PAYDAY OR SHORT TERM LOAN. EVEN IF YOU DO NOT GET A LOAN, THESE SCAMMERS USE YOUR INFORMATION TO TERRORIZE YOU.
IF YOU NEED CASH, GO TO A LOCAL BUSINESS IN YOUR AREA, DEAL WITH THEM FACE TO FACE!

Read my previous post. This is an EXTORTION SCAM. Nothing is going to happen to you. Tell them the next time they call you are having them "downloaded" to law enforcement, your phone lines are being tapped and monitored by the FBI.

Just got a voicemail from "jack" saying I call him back by 4:30 or else a case file would by downloaded. He had a very think accent. What should I do?

Was a little difficult to understand, India or Pakistan I am guessing. Call was about a supposed debt my son owed, for money he received (never happened). Call back a second time to find out more... answered by a women with same thick accent. This is a scam. They knew my son's last 4 digits of his social security number. Beware!

I received a call from this number from a Jack Carter/Carlson I cant remember the last name.  they are informing me I have charges in New York City, NY for Fraud and other charges and I will be seen in court on friday.  I also contacted the Local Police Department and filed a report.  As to what they are after, I do not know.  They didnt want money from me they said I will pay my lawsuit in court.  So I guess we will see.  kinda strange how the name is so classically American and he has such a heavy Middle Eastern Decent..

I just got a call from Kevin too. If you don't want these people to call back you can answer and tell them that you have already filed charges with your local police department, who have contacted the FBI. I did this before and the cop actually called them back for me. Then they disconnected their number. These people prey on anyone who has put any type of information through the internet especially during holidays when people are the most vulnerable.

Got a call from a "Jack Carter" from Rexe Law Firm, located in New York. "Jack" had a thick East Indian accent and said he needed an urgent return call by 4:30 today by someone or an attorney. My son called, and figured out it was a scam. "Jack" had last 4 digits of his social security number. This is a SCAM! Beware.

This person Kevin keeps calling my number and asking for myself or my attorney to call him back right away

I got a call earlier today with the number reading 927-71 and then a message left on my voicemail regarding to contact someone named Kevin. He left the same message as he has done to others and then he left the other number 855-826-7861. I have had calls like this in the past from people like this with threatning to take me to court. I have also never heard of the name of the company as well. I plan on reporting this to the proper authorities to stop these kind of calls. I found out through other sources that they are scams.

This Kevin has left messages on my voice mail for a couple of days saYing the me or my atty needs to call right away. GIVE IT A REST ALREADY YOU FILLY THIRD WORLD SCAMMERS!!!!

the same thing happend to me, and sadly this has been going on with me for over a year now.  it scared me too when he said my ss number, they were also calling my job; i work in a medical office and he was tying up our phone lines.  i almost got written up for it!!  this needs to end now and it seems nobody is doing anything about it.. good luck to you.

i have gotten numerous calls over about a span of about 1 year.  the name changes but it is of the same language decent.  same threatening messages.  one time i kept rejecting the calls and he called 13 times back to back.  it seems nobody will do anything about it either

I already reported the number. I informed "Kevin" I was reporting him and that's when he hung up on me. I will place alerts on my accounts later today, just in case. I was so mad when they named my employer and my bank including the last numbers of my bank account. I have had a few scam calls like this before.

Called back and he's trying to claim I owe a debt of $5,000+. Which is bogus. Said that I'll be served by 11:30 AM.

I called CashNetUSA and they confirmed that I've never taken out a loan with them, and don't owe them anything. They also confirmed that this is a common scam, and not to provide them with any information.

The kind lady at CashNetUSA is also sending me with an email with links to report to the FBI, etc.

My best advice for you, is don't waste your time with these Indian goofs. They could even provide you with your social security number, for some reason, they have it. This is just a scare tactic to get you to pay up. Don't do it, and file out all the reports you need to.

Also contact your bank and let them know to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, and explain the situation to them.

I would also suggest blocking the phone number, if possible. Don't feel threatened by any possible lawsuits or threats to throw you in jail ;)

I got a scam phone call from "Kevin" today telling me to call him back and he said he "wishes me good luck as this case unfolds."

I called this number back and told them I have contacted the attorney generals office.  I am sick and tired of being harassed by this damn people.

Hey everyone I called that 855-826-7861 number back after getting message on my answering machine & I told them Kevin had left a message & Jack said he could help me . I told him I didn't think so & he says do you know what this case is about? I told him no I don't owe any bills I have no credit cards & I have a policeman standing here would he like to speak to him & guess what he hung up. LOL. Just thought I'd let people know. Jack also stated he needed my atty information & I told him I don't think so.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I too got a call from Kevin on my answering machine & he said if he doesn't hear from me or my attorney I will pay the price..

I got three recorded messages demanding that I call back immediately to this number or my lawyer to contact them immediately.  At the end of the message "Kevin" said that if I don't respond immediately he will only wish me luck as everything unfolds and I get dragged into court for some unknown debt.  I'm a collections specialist and I know for a fact that this kind of "collecting", real or not, is against the law and I've sent the info to my state attorney general's office so they can put out a scam alert in regards to "Kevin" and his calls.

This scam is from India.  I also get a call from a Kevin.  They are fake and nasty.  I have reported them to my local police departrment and the FCA. I am sick and tired of these idiots harrassing and calling me all the time. I will not answer them anymore and hopefully they will be caught soon.
