P.P.S when I asked him his name he said Sam Smith and he was in Cali I new he was in india!

P.S verizon's system has been down for 3 days!

Tried to pay my cell phone bill on verizon website and it said my card # is no good this # popped up I called and he said my I.P. has been compromised ,like a idiot thinking it's verizon gave him remote access to my CPU  stuff wasn't adding up he said I couldn't get a new I.P. because it goes by your house I hung up reset my I.P but the next day my laptop upstairs would not work at all! 500$ later!

Had the same issue with these guys.  I have a chat session where the Comcast tech (named Anand Singh) gave me this number to call for "Tier 2" escalations.  What a scam.  He pulled up a netstat on my computer to show me that I was being hacked.  What a joke.  This is a complete SCAM!!!  For everyone who reads this, be careful.  Don't ever ever call this number.

They claimed to be comcast support.  They wanted my password to access  my Comcast account.  They also wanted me to go to logmein123.com and download some software so they can access my computer and troubleshoot a problem.  This is a complete SCAM.   Avoid these guys.  I am currently working with the FBI to get them shutdown.  All workers there have a heavy indian accent and most likely are not even in the US.

Happened to me last night.  He told me to open google to make sure I had internet connection.  I was just trying to get a new DVR activated.  After a while of him trying to convince me to use the Microsoft service he recommended I just hung up on him.
Unfortunately before I hung up, thinking I was talking to Comcast, I let me LogMeIn on my computer.  Now my wife is mad at me for being a fool.
Hopefully he is not emptying my bank accounts out as I type (wife is calling the bank).

This made a frustrating task even worse......

I had the same problem but Comcast gave me this number to call for their email support.  I thought I was talking to Comcast and the person even said he was with comcast. The person said my problem was with IP addressed and my network had been hacked and he warned me not to do anything on my computer until I got this fixed.  He said Microsoft could fix it for $499.99.  He said I needed to talk to Microsoft "white hat specialist" and he offered to connect me to them.  After talking to the second person I realized it was a scam.  Shame on Comcast.

Googled, COMCAST to ask about why my automatic withdrawal wasn't taken out, and "comcast" told me that my ip addresses were critical, and showing up in other countries. Sheer state of panic. After showing me items wrong in my computer they transfer me to teccure.com, phone line where they asked for an electronic check for almost $500 to fix the problem, and gave NO RECEIPT. Called Comcast today to investigate, NO RECORDS SHOWING MY CALL AT ALL.

Googled this number from my phone log, found this page, TOTAL SCAM. When I called them today, phone rang and said " transffering to an agent." When I asked who I had called, he just said I'm your agent, then when I pressed him he said finally stuttered Verizon. I told him they were all over the internet for scamming people, and HE STILL TRIED TO GET MY INFORMATION !!!!!!!!!

Googled COMAST and found the number, they didn't call for me.

So I was having problems with my Verizon cable box and googled verizons number and found this 2nd to the top of the list so I called them thinking it was Verizon. Turns out to be some guy from India and he was suggesting that I called a company in Delaware called the Microsoft white hat team that can only take customers if you were referred. I hesitated to get connected to them because this was sounding so shady because all I needed was a new cable box. The guy was very persistent on connecting me and that's when I felt like something weird was going on so I hurried up and disconnected the call. I then called another number for Verizon that found and this happened to be the correct number and asked them about the Indian guy and they knew nothing of it. The google search came up as, "Verizon Router Service" when I went to look for the number again. Weird!

Got a person by the name of Dale (if that's his name) from A1 Courier trying to deliver a package to ___. I said that person doesn't live here. Then he continued to say that it's court documents for a court date in KC and would hate for them to miss the court date. I told him, I have no information and asked how he received my information or phone number to contact this person. He said it was from GAA (Greg Adams & Associates in FL). He gave me GAA's phone number with extension to call for further information. I asked Dale what # he's calling from just incase. He gave me 855-844-6874. Dale continue to say that he has 5 more calls to do and track down people to send deliveries to and it's hard since the holidays are coming up that they are busy. I hung up with him and looked up A1 Courier with this phone number he's given me. First, there isn't a A1 Courier service in our state. There are other thoughts, but I'm keeping them to myself.

Robert from A1 courier called looking for an employee and said that this employee told him to drop the package off here and that he needed to talk to her to confirm that she will sign for it, I explained that employees can't receive calls, visitors, packages at work.  He quickly became angry and argumentative and I hung up.  The employee hasn't even worked here since 2009. Clearly a last ditch effort from a low life collector.

"TOLL FREE" appeared on Caller ID and the man who answered said his name was Robert - calling from A1 Courier service. "Is this Mr. (Last name used by someone assuming there is a "Mr." at this phone number)?" "I don't like how you assume the person you're calling is at this phone number" I replied. "Whoa, whoa, whoa...we got off on the wrong foot - let's start over" 'Robert' said. "I'm not at the liberty of disclosing who is or isn't at this phone number because YOU called ME so I want to know who you are." I already said, "I'm Robert with A1 Courier - a courier service. I'll just call another number I have here for the contact. You have a better day, sir." and Robert hung up.
