I got a call last week from this number 1-855-846-4573 and you could barely understand a word he has saying. He said his name was Stewart Miller and that i owed his company $300.00. I told him that i have never gotten the money and I didnt know what he was talking about. He was hateful and he said he would be at my work. How I do get them to leave me alone?

This number called me and said I took a payday loan and didn't pay it but I didn't even have the bank account open at the time I was told the loan was taken out. It is a SCAM!!!!!!  The man also called my job the only number he had and called 100 times in an hour saying obscene things...really, a collection "officer" right

You can't block the number they are able to see where your calling from

Yeh, I had the same thing happen to me so I had my attorney call them. My attorney announced herself, and they hung up on her. She called back again, and she attempted to speak again, and once again they hung up on her. I'm calling the local police department today, and I am going to file a lawsuit against them.

This guy is a total idiot. They call constantly telling me I'm going to be arrested for a civil complaint and ask for my Atty.  I guess what schoolo he went to where they taught people get arrested for civil complaints ?-)  

Never got around to asking for money because I just tell him he?s an idiot running a stupid scam. The only trouble is that somehow he has my phone number and calls constantly, which is annoying to say the least. If he keeps it up I?ll call and tie up his line but not worth it time wise. Wish I knew how jerks like this get information.

HOW OR WHERE DO I REPORT THEM?

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

i just listened to a vm from this number.  he said my name and that i lived in the state of Georgia, he then said he was calling about a case file against my daughter (who is a college student) he wanted me to not hesitate and call her right away ...now! and give her this number to call him back. if i could not reach her right away, i was to call him back.  i immediately googled this number and found all of your messages...  so glad we have this advantage. if he calls again, i will take everyones advice,,,I will announce that my husband is retired police (true) and i will state that if they do not stop calling my number i will file a police report for phone harrasment. by the way he also had a very thick accent that was very difficult to understand, sounded eastern indian.

My husband got a call from these a***oles at his job and when he started asking the foreign guy questions, they hung up on him.  They never called back but today I get a message from them on my cell and they are threatening me with jail time.  This man had an Indian accent and was very sarcastic.  He said that if I didn't call them back that he was gonna have to wish me luck because I would need it.  These folks are pigs.

Got a call saying I had an outstanding payday loan from CashExpress, which I never had, They knew where I worked, my Bank , and SS#. They demanded that I payback $300 loan plus over $400 in interest. If I failed to do as they asked, they were going to call my employer, make me lose my job, and regret that I did not repay money. I was goping to be sued, taken to court, fined $10,000 and then $20,000 if I did not comply. When I asked for business lincense number and their address and details of my "loan" I was told that this was an ongoing investigation and they could not devulge any details. I was going to be sued. I hung up and later receiver a call from the accented a**le who then said that he had just receiver permission from his supervisor to procede with legal action. I told him to go ahead and hung up and then blocked the number.

I just got a call from these idiots claiming they are investigators and that I owed some money.   This guy was from India and had a heavy accent.   He said I owed for a loan but he wouldn't tell me from who.  He said that it's on my credit.  LIAR!   I hung up and called back and the guy went crazy on me!  I don't think a legitmate "investigator" would have done that. I keep calling them back but they won't pick up now.  By the way, they have caller ID and know what number is being dialed in to them.  So I advise everyone to keep calling them like 10 times in a row and I guarantte they will stop.  They are crooks.

Got a call today while I was out riding my bike from this numbert.  Left message.  Reading from a script.  Pronounced my name wrong.  Indian accent.  Recognized the voice from calls almost six months ago.  Stopped them then by promising to spend as much time as necessary hunting him down and screwing with his life.  Might be time to get nasty again.

I received a call from 855-846-4573, saying something about my name and social security number and some other stuff i couldn't fully understand but i still have the voicemail he left. I am very concerned about this call, being that they have my information and i feel alittle threatened by what i have read about this number calling others. If you can please let me know what to do.

I called the police and got some advise. Block the caller. Change bank acct's, contact credit bearors(can't spell it)change number. They know everything abt me. I'm freaked out.

I've received several calls from 855-846-4573 on my cell phone and at work. They also call from 877-246-7884 and 213-286-9999 It is the same gentleman calling from both #'s. At first he told me I had an outstanding balance on an account for $511.00 but would settle for $428.00. I asked him for paperwork on this account; however, he said he couldn't supply me with paperwork beforehand. He assured me that I would receive something after I paid the account via Western Union. He called me at least 10 times back to back on my work phone (thank goodness I have a direct extension). He then called and asked for the principal at my school and wouldn't get off the phone. I put him on hold, he hung up and called back several times. The man had a very heavy accent. I told him that I wasn't sending any money to anyone until I received paperwork. I am concerned because he has the last four of my social. Who know what other information he has?

The same person called me. I do not pick up numbers I do not recognize, and so they left a message. They said there were three criminal allegations against my social security number. If I called them back at that number then they could help me. Obviously this is a scam and you never want to give information over the phone to someone you are not expecting a call from.

I got them to stop calling by blowing up their phone.  I just kept redialing and redialing.  During which time, I told them I had reported them to the Attorney General's Office.  Another number to watch out for is 8772467884.

Got two calls on my cell and 1 call at the office.  Foreign accents.

I work at a hosptial and they called all our lines repeatedly for over 3 hours. I could find no way to stop them but I did not release any information.
