caller never identifies himself, very rude asking for a certain person. Advise no one by that name is in this office. Then he asks for the company owner. Advise that he would have to contact Tennessee, this is Louisiana. He hangs up.  Tried calling the # back, no answer then busy signal.

We are thinking its someone from VistaPrint - someone that stole the data. The caller uses a phonecard so it cant be traced.

Just got a call from this number today the guy ask my name and I ask him who 's calling please so he hang up.

Called once on Monday asking for the Office Manager. I told the woman that he was on the other line and asked if I could take a message....She just said "No message" and hung up. Has called 3 times today with no one on the other line and disconnects.

I've had at least 3 calls from this number TODAY on my cell phone, although I've only answered once (on the 1st ring cause I'm VERY IRRITATED) and they hung up on me.  My husband has started getting them as well.  They've called as early as 7 AM and as late at 10 PM.  This has been going on now for nearly a week.  Augghh.  Makes me wonder if they google their own dang number and read all of our posts...if so...GET A FREAKIN LIFE.  We have lives and don't need time taken out of our busy days for your STUPID 1980's prank calling crap.  Looks to me like they have a lot of numbers and have been very busy calling people the past few months.  STOP IT.

This call is from either Atlas Pen Co. or National Pen Co. in San Diego, CA.  These are the two biggest pen companies in that area.  The calls are probably coming from the mail room or a supply room.  The sales people would not have the time to do this nonsense.

Got a call from this number on our business line.  Thanks to this site I didn't answer.  Then they called on my cell phone, twice.  Were kicked into voicemail on the second call but didn't leave a message.

Suddenly this number is calling my home 2-3 times a day...and this morning they called at 720AM !!! I answered - and it was dead air....I see it comes up as VONAGE HOLDINGS

i think this must some pranksters from india who have a  vonage line installed...

I blew my air horn threw the mouthpiece of my phone. I'll see if they call back.

If you're answering the call - and they say a few words then hang up - I wonder if they are staying on the line long enough to somehow route $$$ calls through our phone numbers? I've not answered one of them; don't plan to.

A guy called to speak to the owner of my company.  When I asked for his name & what it is in regard to, he replied "Are you serious to ask me" then hang-up.

Terrible waste of time.

All they do is call and hang-up.  When you call back, they answer and go Wooh, and hang-up.  Or, do not answer.  What would be the purpose ?  Just to make phone calls outbound and hang-up ?  That is a going concern being able to call folks and hang-up ?

Same here.  Calls from same number almost everyday.  Answered the first two and asked who was speaking only to get hung up on.  Now, I let it go to VM and it is someone different every time.

I reported the number to the FCC as I am on a do not call list.  This is a qualification call.  The questions are meaningless.  If you don't know the number, don't pick up the phone.

Put in a complaint with the FCC and it will stop. http://www.fcc.gov/complaints it will take a bit but they'll stop calling you.

Called at 7:00 am today August 29.  They call every day.  Rude and hang u when you say anything.  Cant even get out "Please don't call here again" before they hang up.  Next time I am calling the police and will tell them so.

I responded, "speaking..."
He said something like, "how would you like to come out to San Diego and go ziplining?"

I've also received calls from rude woman asking for owner. I've offered to take a message a couple of times but she just hangs up. I get calls that hang up right away often too and I'm finally noting the number. AND I've also gotten the free pen, but it had company name spelled incorrectly. I'm pretty sure it was the abbreviated spelling used with the caller ID registry.

I get calls from this number daily. It's always nothing on the other end. When I call it back, its busy. On another note, I recieved a random pen in the mail yesterday with my business name on it. I wonder if its related somehow....

This guy called today and asked for me. I responded, Yes who is this? He said my name again and how is the weather in "my city" today? I responded Fine, and who is this? He said My name is John from....click he hung up.

I've called the number back and it rings for ever, not pick up, then disconnect.

Would be nice to know where to report these telemarketer scammers to have them shut down.

You need to say "I am the owner" and then it will connect you with an operator.

They are trying to push pens (30K) and no doubt once they get your cc, you will get all kinds of things..
