This number calls at least 3 times per day. They NEVER leave a message. I requested information from University of Pheonix about 3 years ago and started getting numerous calls from several online schools for what seemed to a year. I finally got them all to leave me alone, and for some reason, about a month ago, this one has started up again. I don't know if this will ever end!

OMG PEOPLE!!! Put a blocker app on your phone. I use Mr. Number. It works great. I get a call, let it go to voicemail then I Google the number to see who called. Then I block the number so their calls no longer come through. No need to write letters, threaten to sue or argue about it on this site. Who has time for all that?? I don't.

I too am a student at Ashford and agree one hundred percent with you. People that enroll in online only colleges think it will be a degree they don't have to work for when in fact, you do!  They are one of the most military friendly online colleges and offer great incentives and help to those that need it.  Anyone that is calling it a scam, does not do their research, including the senator listed in one of the other posts. I about died laughing when I read it!  Good luck to you!  I was looking on her only because I did not know the number and it came up for me a GA number.

I earned my Bachelor' s degree at Ashford and graduated with Honors and it was not easy. I worked just as hard online if not harder than some students who class on campus!  I'm a proud Ashford University Graduate! !!!!

OK they have called twice looking for a Christopher.  The first time I told them they had a wrong number but now see they may became a nuisance.  Obviously Christopher knew better than to put his real phone number and probably just put in a random number for them to call but now that left me the lucky recipient of his calls.  I really hope this will be the end of it all.

I believe that the foundation is in richy-rich California home of all that is corrupt (most of the people living there) because the last number before I received 8007980584 said "Bridgepoint CA."

I hope they get axed when all evidence of what they've done to their former students comes into the light and revealed because from what I heard.

University or not, they should NOT be calling me! I did not contact this business/college whatsover, I reported the bridgepoint number to authorities and I am going to report this number NEXT.

On the internet, college is a joke. If your transcripts from Assford are accepted by a "respectable"* college (notice I did not say "real") good for you.

I cringe at the education this generation (my generation and beyond) will be facing after they graduate High School.

Wait a minute, Bridgepoint? Wow, it all makes sense now! I kept on getting harassing calls from this "scamiversity" and I've never had anything to do with Bridgepoint or the other number this disgraceful place is now continuing to call me on. Nor do I want to associate with these retards.

I just put in 8007980584 to see what popped up and Ashford University came up in Google.

I got curious more and decided to see some reviews on this "online college" many of which were of sound reason and it reminded me the crap I'm going through with a clinic I went to.

With this college and itsreviews, I saw many poor people being harassed to pay large sums of money for the stupid college's mistake!

Honestly, I hope this disgusting money-hungry college gets thrown to the wolves and out of commission.

This number keeps calling me every 3 days and my phone only rings a couple time, then they hang up. I would like to find out who they are and why they keep calling me and not leaving a message.

calls everyday between 4:00 pm c.s.t and 8:00 pm. Very annoying

I was trying to carry on a very important conversation on the phone but finally switched over to take the 4th call and told her not to ever call my number again! To remove from their list! I really would like to know who to file a complaint with! I am sick to death of these people calling me, I did not request any phone calls from anyone!!!!! I want them to STOP calling Me!!!!!!!!!!

I would absolutely call this for-profit, non-accredited "university" a scam. I don't know how they got my number - I'm already working on a degree from a real school and have no interest in their "classes" - and I told them this every time they called me (which was about three times a day, every day, for nearly four months. I finally had to block them through my cell carrier.

My husband has already gotten his associates and bachelor's degree from Ashford and he is active duty military so this is one of the online schools that work with his schedule and I can tell you his classes are not a breeze I have helped him with a few of his experiments from classes and maybe the reason they bash the college is because they cannot handle the courses. They do not just give you the grade to push you through!  Many classes my husband has most pulled his hair out trying to pass and I can verify it was an extremely hard class as well as the instructors DO NOT Just give you the grade! My husband just received his transcripts and diploma from Ashford and plans to finish up his Masters soon. He has been checking into other colleges like Florida State and U of Miami and both said they would accept all his  credits are fully transferable! He has never had any issues with the college even when his TA was cut due to the governed being shut down and it.being taken away from him. There are alot of people at the military  base we are at that has and is continuing to go to a Ashford University so should find out facts before slandering a college because of cold calls made to your cell or home phone!

Calls are starting up again, from the online colleges, from last year when they promised to take me off their list. I also reported this number to the do not call list and registered all my numbers on the DNC List in our state. Now it's time to take the next step, as if I have that kind of time. This is why we need Federal intervention to regulate blatant aggressive behavior. These callers are telephone bullies who won't stop until they get what they want and then someone else from their office tries to make contact again.

I also got a call from Ashford University. I was even assigned an adviser. I have never heard of this school before. Called the adviser back and let her know I am enrolled at another university. Hopefully I do not get any more calls.

Harassment occurs when you tell the entity to cease telephoning. Harrassment can occur prior to you telling them to back off if indeed it is excessive which it sounded that way. Document calls on caller ID, if they continue contact a lawyer /I did and got $!,500. for my troubles.
Lawyers cut is 10 to 20%. Some specialize in it! It is lucrative for a lawyer (especially straight out of school). Do it, call a lwayer.

I am really tired of being interrupted from my work by this caller.  The only school I care about is SIUE or University of Arkansas and they do not interrupt me multiple times a week.  So this place needs to stop their lunacy.  

Over age 65, no student loan here!  They call everyday and sometimes 2 times a day.  I am tired of it.  The only school anyone is affiliated with here is SIUE.  I wish this phone number would just die!

Whenever I get a call from them, I inform them that I am in the middle of taking a dump. And I make appropriate noises to back up my statement. That puts them off. I hope some of these pests end up in therapy.

You have the grammar and spelling of a ten year old. It is an abomination to think that any college would give you a degree to teach others.
