This is a extortion Scam Operation, do not answer, do not engage them. Get a call blocker.  Report them to the FEDS as listed in my post above.

This is a long summary, but you need to read it carefully if you think you are being threatened by a debt collector.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

* Every collector must send you a written ?validation notice? telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don?t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed ... not emailed or texted]   <<<< READ THIS CAREFULLY.  Perhaps provide it to the investigating police officer.

* Debt collectors may NOT
- repeatedly use the phone to annoy someone.
- falsely claim that they are attorneys or government representatives
- falsely claim that you have committed a crime
- falsely represent that they operate or work for a credit reporting company
- say you will be arrested if you don?t pay your debt
- say they?ll seize, garnish, attach, or sell your property or wages unless they are permitted by law to take the action and intend to do so
- communicate with consumers at their place of employment after being told this is unacceptable or prohibited by the employer.
- say that legal action will be taken against you, if doing so would be illegal or if they don?t intend to take the action
- use a false company name
- take or threaten to take your property unless it can be done legally;

The debt collector may not garnish your wages unless there is a court order to do so.
+ Many Federal benefits (including Social Security Benefits) are exempt from garnishment

You have the right to sue a collector in a state or federal court within one year from the date the law was violated. If you win, the judge can require the collector to pay you for any damages you can prove you suffered because of the illegal collection practices, like lost wages and medical bills. The judge can require the debt collector to pay you up to $1,000,

Report any problems you have with a debt collector to your state Attorney General?s office, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF DANNY MORRISON KEEPS CALLING ME SAYS HE IS FROM US LENDING . HE CALLS AROUND PAYDAY .HE CALLED MY PLACE OF WORK. HE SAID I WOULD BE ARRESTED AND RETAINED IN JAIL FOR A WEEK THEN GO TO COURT. HE WANTED ME TO SEND HIM 700 .00 DOLLARS IF NOT I WOULD GO TO JAIL FOR THEFT. I DID HAVE A COUPLE ON LINE LOANS AND STOREFRONT. I TOLD HIM I WAS FILING BANKRUPTCY. HE CALLED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES. THE FIRST TIME I REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE. THEY CALLED HIM BACK  AND BELIEVED HIM AND SAID HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT A DEBT. HE COULD NOT TELL ME WHICH LOAN CO HE WAS REPRESENTING.  ITS TOO BAD THEY INTIMIDATE  US . ITS LIKE A TERRORIST THREAT. I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP LONG SINCE.

I got a call from this number, stated I have been calling you all day, only one missed call, told me law suit filed against me and to have my attorney or myself call them back. When I call the number it is non stop busy. I looked up on our state website and there is nothing filed against me....

I did look them up and it is a parking lot and can not find the name either.  Thanks for the information

They lied to you! On google maps, there is a parking lot at the address given.  And there is no Daniel and Lawson legal associate. showing up on google search either.  Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Just called the number above told me the is warrant's for my arrest if I do not pay back a loan to US lending.  Spoke to the person whom answered phone he said his name was Danny Morrison, asked to resolve problem if I let you speak to the lawyer you can not ask questions.  I called back same person answered phone but no he is Daniel Lee.  Spoke to a lawyer whom name is Steven Torres and asked what this was about and why are you calling he said I will call the cops.  When I aske why did you say cops and not police if you are a lawyer.  He said you were told not to ask questions.  Name of law firm is Daniel and Lawson legal associate.  address given to me is 130 N.Main St. Bristole CT, 06010

A friend of mine on law enforcement said it's illegal for a creditor to mention or threaten jail. Just call the police, block the number, and move on.

Called numerous times demanding money and threatened to call the police, but wouldn't tell me the name of the "law firm". And I hung up because he sounded so scripted like he was reading off a piece of paper.  Then he left a very rude voicemail saying send me the money now, you must be guilty because you hung up.. OMG finally decided to look up the number and I found this!!!!.. I'm blocking them asap

His number for me is 860-973-1372.  He called 4 times in a row until I finally answered  (started after 6:00 PM-what lawyer does that?).  Read me the "affidavit" for my bank fraud and theft by deception.  I asked him for his firm name, his name, their website, and I obviously had their number.  I put him on mute and found you guys! I'm glad we look out for each other.

supposedly representing U.S. Loan Lending Services and he lists lots of companies that are subsidiaries.

These people have been call my cell number for days. John White left a voice mail when I returned the call a lady with a smart mouth said I took out a loan from US lenders but would not give me a date when I took out this loan. She talks but you can not ask any questions.  I goggled both numbers I know its a scam #860-973-1472 & 860-552-2284.Beware of the threatening ppl wirh accent.

(860)-973-1372 this number called and an Indian man Named Roy Jackson called left a message. I called back they answered with you have reached an attorney group when asked and they wouldn't give one. Said I owed a loan company money that I haven't borrowed money from. I told them I hadn't borrowed any money and I'd turn it over to the authorities here. They hung up!
