I got a call from this number today but wasn't bale to get to the phone in time to take the call. I called the number back & it was answered, but nobody on the other end. Then a rapid dialing sound of 10 digits, and then again silence. I believe it's an auto-dialer and when it hits a phone number that's answered or when someone calls back - it records the number as a legitimate phone number and it goes on a list. Probably a telemarketing list. We have no creditors calling or harrassing us so it would have to be something else. We lived in Dallas years back and we got these type phone calls all the time and hundreds of telemarketers calling night & day.

Strategic Marketing is no longer in Arizona. They are located in Florida now! They still do telemarketing for newspapers all over the USA. This is according to a friend of mine who recently moved to Florida.

SME is a legitimate marketing company. I work at the Ocala, FL branch as what you people would call a "telemarketer" or "moron". I am a college student studying business finance and see nothing wrong with selling yourlocal newspapers via telephone to pay my bills in the meantime. Stacy is no "bastard", he is an entrepreneur. His wife, Linda is also an intelligent, fair business woman. Everything we do at SME is perfectly legal. If you would like MY opinion, you people are the morons. The reason your home/work/cell number got on one of our lists is your own fault. You submitted it somewhere, somehow, and now companies are selling that number to each other. Guess what? That's ALSO perfectly legal. If you want us to stop calling you, politely ask to be removed from our list and we will do so.
I'm so tired of you people insulting our profession, whether it's the college student like myself calling you, the single mom trying to provide for her child, or the 70 year old widower who just wants to get out of his house 8 hours a day. Get off your high horses. Its just newspapers. You probably SHOULD read the newspaper instead of spending your time bashing good companies.

June 18, 2008  call from this number

This company is a marketing company that telemarkets whatever product they have been hired to push.  They have an automated dialer that disconnects when it picks up your voice mail.  I called the number (not the 866 number) but the (623) 847-1603 Phone line.  I hit zero to talk to someone.  I didn't get their name but they did say that they would call the IT director to have them stop calling.

If they call in 48 hours, I will report them to the Do Not Call authorities, the AZ secretary of State and may file a claim in california small claims court for harrassment.

Tried to call their Arizona office using by VOIp.  Message said that they didn't accept blocked ID calls.  

So I faxed them a ream of blank paper at (623) 847-1663 Fax.

This number called and left a voice message. Just someone trying to sell debt reduction. I don't need it. I have no idea how they get their list for calling. What a bunch of stupid assh*les.

Remember the phone # listed is probably for his dear old mum Constance, and Even if Stacy is a bastard heading an evil business that annoys us, it is wrong to bother his mother over something she has no power over.

They're located in Glendale, AZ according the message I got when I called the number. They are calling on behalf of my local paper about a subscription. That would be the Sacramento Bee. This makes me really mad. These morons were calling me daily last fall about subscribing and I asked the multiple times to stop. They finally did after several weeks. I guess they thought it was okay to start up again. They are calling both my home and my cell number 2-3 times a day. The number does say if you enter 1, then your number they will remove you from the calling list.

Been getting these on my company supplied Blackberry.  As a matter of course, I refuse to answer '800' numbers, even at home.

Have had several calls from this number.  Same as others if you call back it is dead air or the sound of anotehr number being dialed.

I just received a call, and thought it was my insurance company, so when I called back there was nothing until the digital dialing tone. I don't know whoever it is, I will be reporting it. I have At&t and no one has ever prank called me. I will be reporting this number:)

This place keeps calling my office and never talks.  I've tried to call back, but it doesn't ring.  It's weird, and it's becoming very irritating.  If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.  My email is mstephen@sprintpcs.com

Called me as well.  I answer and they say nothing.  When I call back I get nothing, no ringing but after a while I also get the digital dialing sound then a hang up.

When you call the number it gives back the digital dialing.

866-211-0264 - Just received a call from this number, called it back and a recording comes on and states that they are Strategic Marketing Enterprises located in Glendale, Az, calling to speak about a subscription to the local paper.  Don't live in AZ, live in CA.  It does give you the option to be removed from there call list.

I have recieved calls from this number at many times of the day...3/7/08 at 10:13, 3/13/08 at 6:16, 3/17/08 at 12:52, and 3/19/08 at 5:44....how do i get them to stop calling?

I am receiving phone calls from 866-211-0264:  3/14 @7:06 pm, 3/13 @12:42pm, 3/11 7:53PM, 3/10 @10:46AM.  I have no dealings with this caller.  Please help identify this caller to stop calling.
