Just got a phone call from this number and said she is Natalie Lanza and with BBVA Compass bank Faud dept.. Don't have an acct with them at all, nothing to verify for them. I just wonder how they got my number and my full name..

They sent me the following TEXT message.

Morons are just trying to see if they've found a good number.

I too have been getting these harassing calls from Toll Free Call 866-240-7530.  They keep asking for another person and when I tell them that they are calling the incorrect number they promptly hang up. Then the following day, the same call again or sometimes later on in the day or night.  

This doesn't sound like a collection agency to me, it sounds more like phishing for your credit card information - I've gathered from all of the messages on here.  Do not fall for it.  Oh, and you can't block toll free numbers on your telephone, I've tried.  Real collection agencies will tell you who they are and why they are calling and whom they represent.  Well, at least that's what the ethical ones are supposed to do, but this number seems to be a scam.

I have been on the National Do Not Call Registry since they began, and I file a daily complaint with them, and this doesn't seem to do much good.  I hope the FTC can find out where these calls originate from and stop them once and for all.

I recieved a call from this number today on my cell phone. I do not know that number and they did not leave a message. I blocked my caller ID and called the number back. Sounded like a young man who answered the phone with just "hello". I hung up since they did not answer with a company name. I will not take calls from numbers I do not recognize!

Crossings is a book club.... have you ordered any books lately? I just know this from seeing it in magazines. Not a subscriber myself. I hate these ppl that call and won't give you the reason why they are calling. It is like you are suppose to guess with twenty questions!!! Have a Great Day!!

They call all the time but I never answer.
They do not leave a message. Never, ever give out personal information. Watch where you go online and make sure you don't supply info to unsecure sites or people you trust.

Called last night I told them they had the wrong number and the man said the call was recorded and they would remove my number but they called back first thing this morning.. They are Idiots

Received a call from this number asking for me, I held and it said it was transferring, then all agents are busy, several times after transferring again.  I have no idea why they would be calling me.  I am good with my bills and haven't received any collections notices that I am aware of.  Read the comments, also havent subscribed to any book or BMG clubs.  Have no idea what it is about but you would think if someone stays on the line someone would at least pick up.  Annoying.  They are calling me on my cell number at peak hours too.

Unknown Caller

Called the number from a different phone three times and it just picks up and hangs up.  Get two or three calls a day about once or twice a month.  finally thought I would Google it.  Glad to know I am not the only one with complaints.  Too bad there is not a way to stop this.  

Don't have bill collectors after me and don't have any subscriptions to book clubs.

Get calls from them about every hour, never leave a message. These debt collectors will call and list themselves by other names - they'll use names of book clubs, charities, on-line stores just to get you to talk to them. My aunt used to work for one and they made her type up letters to people claiming the were a law firm when they didn't even employ an attorney. They are all shady and will do whatever they have to to collect and to make matters worse they outsource to India or other countries and they people who call have such thick accents you can't understand them. By the time the information is passed to the outsourcing company it is often wrong anyway. Very frustrating!!!!!

These losers keep calling my cell and leaving no voice mail.  I called them from a different line asking who they were and what they did.  The woman with a thick, almost Jamaican accent, said we are National Recovery Agency, but asked for personal information to continue.  She would not even disclose what they did.

Sounds like a phishing attempt to me.  Usually a bill collector will at least offer who they are calling on behalf of, without disclosing specific figures or details.

Got a call from this number about a month ago.  It was automated- if you are nickname with maiden name press one.  I did and there was nothing on the other line.  I waited about a minute and then hung up.   I know I have no debt or anything like that in my nickname.

They called again today I answered.  Got the "all of our representatives are busy please wait for our next avail. associate."

They've been calling me off and on for the past year trying to get ahold of someone named Jerry(or Jeri?) Greer. I've told them every time that I don't even know who this person is but they keep calling me.

This # keeps calling wanting personal info.  WOW!!!

Same thing is happening to me. I put them on my blocked caller list on my cell phone.

keep getting calls from this # say's it is "Toll Free Caller"....no messages just a lot of calls daily

THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM! They tried telling me I owe an outstanding debt and wanted my credit card number. I refused to give it to them. I called back and they changed the company name twice. First the lady said it was B and G and then it was suddenly NRA. This was after I demanded multiple times that she tell me. DD NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE! I'm reporting them!!!

Just got a call on my cel from this number - missed the call and no voicemail

Got a call at 7am on a saturday.  Missed call, called back.  Woman said she was NIA and that she could not tell me anymore unless I gave her some personal information.  I am on the no call list and I am furious.
