They just called my cell again.  They call periodically and I have never answered again after the first call when I determined they were scammers.  I have their number labelled as "Scammer" in my address book, and I have assigned a silent ring to it.  So they no longer can interrupt me.  They only show up as a missed call.  Try working for a living, jerks.

go to google and type in do not call list and click the first website that pops up the website ends in .gov sign up your phone number it seriously takes 30 seconds =] however must have a valid email as you will need to confirm your email =]

Got a call at 2:45 PM TX time -  no one there when I answered the phone- so I just hung up!

Wonder what good  the Do Not Call list is if people can still call and harass people.

they still keep coming......they wait a month or two and then bam.....they are back.....

they just change the number and start all over......

why does the phone company's just block out all 866 numbers......if it was a business i deal with then register your name for caller id

In the past 21 days this number has called me 32 times, making up over 40% of my total received calls.  I called the number back today to have myself removed from the list, which supposedly takes 30 days...I'm not hopeful though.  I will never make a transaction with NCO or Capital One because of this annoyance.

866-309-7623 just kept calling all day and even night. they don't leave a message either. this has been ongoing for more than a week now. although i don't answer i hope they will get tired of calling with no answer from me.

this number calls 2-3 times day and night.  I either ignore it or pickup and hangup.

I play with them. I keep them on the phone as long as I can under the impression that I am interested in what they are selling. Just when they think they are about to close the deal I say the most offensive thing possible depending on the circumstances. If they're going to waste my time I'll waste theirs!

First time I remember getting one of their calls. At midday today. I didn't answer. All the caller id gives is the number, not the name. I have no business with them so I don't answer. This must be a block of numbers they're calling because my number is new and not available to the public and I have not called them so they don't know who they're calling when they call my number. This is what I hope our government will put a stop to - those annoying block of numbers calls. It's every day anymore.

Called me again today. Every day. I don't answer. What in damnation could they possibly think they'll get from people they've aggravated so much?

This call is from ATT about phone services.  We have been getting 3 or 4 calls a day.  Yesterday I told them I wasn't interested, so today when they called I told the guy that we are continuing to get calls even though we are not interested and to please remove our name from their calling list.  He reluctanly said ok, so we will see what happens.

Again today. Every day. I don't answer. My number is unpubbed and hasn't been given out so they must be calling blocks of numbers. We need a law against calling blocks of numbers. That's how they get around the do not call list.

How can this same number be both from Capitol One AND from ATT? I think these crooks are finding a way to have our Caller IDs show ATT rather than Unknown sometimes or whatever else. I also get calls from them non-stop. Ten times yesterday alone. I don't answer. But I also got one from ATT. I didn't answer that either.

I've never done business with Capitol One. ATT knows I have a non-published new number and they should not be calling me, either. I'm on the Do Not Call list.

How can we turn them in to some Federal agency to have them investigated? I'm going to try to find out what we can do about this.

It is really annoying waking up to their calls and going to bed with their calls. I hope they stop.

NCO is a 3rd party collection agency attempting to collect on Capitol One debt gone bad that they get a commission on. They offer the false hope of restoring one's credit and giving you a new credit card when all they are is a 3rd party collection agency. Bottom feeders making a living off others mis-fortune and bad times.

Well these guys are calling my cell phone day in & day out; running out my battery so I can't get the calls I bought the cell to receive

These people are starting to tic me off. What gives them the right to call my number whenever they want? I try to talk to them, but they never say anything. All I hear is breathing. Who are they?

This number has called everyday for the last week. I finally answered it and someone for me by name (mis-pronounced) and I asked "who?" and they hung up. I called it back and the number went busy.
Who is this and what do they want?

In my case, they claimed to be from Bank of America and kept calling to sell me life insurance. They have been calling for months times and every time they called I expressed not being interested in life insurance and further i do not wish to be bothered again by these types of calls. Yesterday they called again and when i brought this up with the person i was speaking to she completely ignored what i said and continued to blab about the benefits of having life insurance. In my one case they asked to confirm my birthday and they were able to tell me my birthday with sent me off in a fit of rage. The nerve of some companies and the people who work for them.

In the last year I have received well over 300 calls from a-holes like these. I have written down roughly 60 different numbers that they use.    They are usually Credit Card interest rate scammers, Auto warranty scammers, or "debt collection" calls for some unknown persons.
I am on the State and National Do Not Call registries (for 3 years). I have reported these numbers to the DNC folks 3 times. I have reported them to the FCC 2 times. I sent a complaint the Tx. ATT. General 1 time.
I still get the calls at least once a day ( I got exactly 5 this week).
They just change phone numbers and continue "business" as usual.

This number tried to call me five times today, and I am in an apparently growing number of people who never answer unidentified unfamiliar numbers, so I have not answered.  From other comments about this number, they will probably be an annoyance for months to come.  So much for compliance with DNC list!

They called me today and asked for my wife by name.  Claimed to be from the BMO group and said it was urgent.  My wife was not home and they asked for a phone number that she could be reached at immediately.  The person on the other end of the phone sounded like a 12 year old girl...

Calls several timea a day and never leaves a voicemail

This number was selling services for AT&T.  Answer it, tell them you're not interested and ask them not to call again.  DONE!

Got our first call from this number tonight. My husband answered and there was no one on the other end. I'm going to report it on the Do Not Call List Canada website. Hopefully they won't call back as I have two small children going to bed soon.

866-309-7623 keeps calling me about 7-8pm, its very irritating and I would love to be able to sue these people for harassing my family.  Is there anyone out there that can get rid of this unwanted calling?
