I answered it today. It was a male eventually getting to the point which was donating to their research he deems necessary on brand name product ratings for their sent reports. I do have a long standing subscription to Consumer Reports, and this was a so called representative. Apparently it is hired telemarketers.P What ever happened to "don't call" as most of us have joined in the past?

This number has come thru 5 times today.

i have been receiving calls on my cell phone. I never answer 800 or 866 calls, these are scams attempting to collect for "their" charity of choice. It is not real, just don't answer.

I get this also.  I wish there was a way to stop it and not just post a comment.  Where's the leverage to do anythng about this?

Someone call me sometimes and don't leave any messages in my malebox. I'd like to know what company this number is belonged.

I AM 72 WITH BREAST CANCER ,CARING FOR MY 83 YR OLD SPOUSE WHO HAS DEMENTIA AMONG OTHER PROBLEMS AND ALSO A GRANDSON WHO IS MENTALLY CHALLENGED...ALL THIS WITH THESE IDIOTS, WHO DO NOT LV MESSAGES OR SPEAK CALLING FROM AS EARLY AS 8 AM AND AS LATE AS 1O:30 PM...I WILL DO ANYTHING TO STOP THIS HARRASSMENT WHICH IS TORTURE FOR MYSELF AND FAMILY....PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS??????

Calls from the number above and from 866-640-2797 have become harassing.

Called me four times so far, two times a day for the past two days. Never leave a message.

Received calls from various 866 numbers.  Calls are daily and at various times throughout the day.  Discovered that all are the same outfit fundraising for non-profit, PBS.  Numbers include, 866-237-9215, 866-674-9436. Tonight, they called twice within 10 minutes apart. Prior to PBS, it was March of Dimes. Those calls lasted over three weeks.  Fundraiser need to know when to stop harassing donors.  If it is important, leave a message.

Several calls from this number--two today already.  Never leaves a message but there does seem to be someone on the other end who hangs up when he/she/it hears the machine pick up.  Shameful conduct.
