Called back to this number. According to the recording, it is Discover Card and they want to offer some new service. You can speak to a representative if you like; they would just like for you to continue to use your card. Though not word for word, that is the substance of the recording.

They call me daily.....

I don't do business with Discover Card, and my number is lised in the FCC Do Not Call list.

So Discover Card is breaking the law.

If Discover Card breaks the law here, where else might they be breaking the law?  I certainly hope the clown politicians in Washington DC aren't giving Discover any of future generations' hard earned money to keep the fat cats fat.

I have been trying to keep my payment to Discover Card current, even though I was in a car accident and incapacitated for a while. I asked them to help by lowering my interest rate so I could catch up, like Visa card did. The card was being used to live off for a while and the balance was quite high. They refused to help. Having said that, I recently got two new cards in the mail, which raised my limit from $10,000, to $24,000. I wonder which genius at Discover Card made that decision. Stay away from Discover, that's all I can say.

I agree with Kevin above. So Obamawama promises to "make government accountable."  Yeah, uh huh.  So why isn't the floppy eared idiot making the FCC jump down the throats of telemarketers breaking existing laws?  Perhaps he's getting millions from the American Marketing Association.....

These idiots call 2-3 times per day.  Maybe I'll quit paying my taxes until the rotten government does their job and shuts these idiots down.

We get this idiotic company calling everday, everynite, everyhour.  Don't they get the hint when no one answers to quit calling.  If it is Discover Card doing it...I hope they fail just like the rest of the money hungry grabbing organizations that represent credit card companies.  Why don't they call that person we are suppose to address as Mr.President (that one that lied to get in the White House) and bother him all day and night.

We get calls every day from this number, and they leave no message.  Twice I have picked up and nobody says anything, even after several seconds, just dead silence.

I called the number back and pressed "0" several time.  A woman came on and said thanks for calling Discover.  I told her I already had Discover cards and told her this was my business line.  I don't have time to answer calls for something I already have.  Gave her some information and she removed me from their call list....we'll see.
