Thy keep calling from different numbers from a 408 area code. Asked for my business partner and when I told them he is not here they said he has to call because the account is under his SS # . I called back and it goes to voice mail. We don't owe anyone and not sure why they have my number asking for him

Got a message from SELECT  RESOURCES GROUP asking to call back this toll free number 866-429-0943, they are a DEBT COLLECTOR.

But they called from a different number 714-422-0507

Asking if I was the spouse of M................. but not mentionning my name they probably don't know, they just heard a feminine voice on the answering messenger, smart... !

I took over one of the phone number of my husband who unfortunately got 8 yrs ago some debts.
Now everything is discharged. But they probably still tried to get info or payments with  this new group.

Got an annoying call from 866 429 0943 ,they don't say who they are or whats its about ! Next time they call I wont tell them my name . I'm going to answer and put them on hold and go make a sandwich and every few minutes reassure them ill be right back hahaha I can play this game and I'll WIN !!!

When they call again, answer but do not give them your name.  Ask them if the reason for the call is to try to collect a debt.  They will refuse to answer the question.  Tell them that the number they have called is a business number, not a private or personal number and that calls for the purpose of collecting a debt are not allowed to this number.

Got a call from them to....the person on the other end leaving the message on my phone can't even talk , so therefore cannot even understand what there saying.

Ya I keep getting calls from these morons. Debt collector scam. Do not answer or just block them.

These people keep calling my house and now my cell. They released my Social Security number to a friend but say that they will not mail a letter I only need to call. I am sick of these calls. I do not owe anyone money I have checked my credit report and already told them that they are harassing me.

I am going to block the number that keeps calling!

This is a Phishing scam. When you call they ask for your SSN #. NEVER give out your SSn number. could be identity thieves. BEWARE!

Got a call from phone number 805-824-0286 identify herself as casey from select resource group telling me it was imperative that I call # 866-429-0943 right away. I looked up the # thankfully and found it is a debt collection agency I own no debt and think this is a telemarketing company. DO NOT CALL BACK!!!!!!!!

Received a call from 918-923-2566.  Left voicemail for my ex-husband - we've been divorced over 6 years.  Said they were given my number as a message contact.  Asked me to try to contact him and ask him to return the call to Shannon Rivers at 866-429-0943.  Hit the dial-back button for the 918 number.....recorded message "number is not in service at this time".   Hey "Shannon" ... do your own detective work - if this is even a legit call.

I got a call last Friday, from SRG (Select Resources Group) returned the call and was informed they are trying to collect on a debt that was discharged in 1995 as part of a divorce settlement, and is no longer even re-portable. The company they said they were trying to collect on behalf of was "Tokai Credit Corp" which was purchased in 1998 by RABOBANK. RABOBANK does not own the debt - they have no stake in this, and will never see a dime collected.

If you receive a call from them - you do not have to respond. What typically happens is these rogue companies obtain lists of previously reported "debts" and in exchange for the information, agree to split anything collected. If you get a call simply state that the debt is not yours, or that it is discharged, or that the company is no longer in existence and any other calls will be considered as harassment and reported. They will immediately STOP.

This happens every 3-4 years to me with this particular account.

Got a message from 866 429 0943, used a long ago name. Said they are not a telemarketer. I don't really care what they are they have not business calling here. I don't owe anybody anything for any reason. I have creditors begging me to take their money so the FTC will get this number filed with them.

Called and left message on house phone at noon EST asking for me and using my maiden name. I've been married for 15 years so I'm pretty sure it's a fishing expedition. I've no intention of calling them back. My credit report is clear. I will file an FTC report.
