I got this call 2X now only 3 days apart.
A woman said "Hi" in a soft voice.
What can we do to stop it. Apparently we all get it but how do we track it?

I've got a call from this number today and answered and he knew my name and address so I'm scare if they could making problem for my credit card ,... Any body knows if they could do some thing about my credit card... ? Plz give me answer

Called back number, it IS equinox.  I pressed #1 and then entered my number into their DO NOT CALL list, all is good now.

Numerous calls daily most around 0830-0900 then 1230-1400 then from 1730-2100 hours. I never answer but been daily for about a week now.

This # has been calling every day and I never answer and they never leave a message. Very annoying.

it's about the insurance something that they would make you say yes. They will tell you that your bank account belong to someone and they kind of pretend to help you. by telling them your e-mail and asking for your address and phone.

The number I dialled back brought me to Equinox, a marketing call center from Montreal (funny, I used to work with them a few years ago). Press 1 to place your number on their do not call list

When I get this call, It states they are calling from Equinox, a Telemarketing company serving banks, insurance companies.. etc.

I called them back, it's a telemarketer company that does work for some banks like RBC, ignore or report

I got the same call about RBC Insurance for my credit card to protect from 'identity theft'. I finally hung up on the girl who called after she would not take no for an answer the third time and told her repeatedly that I HAVE insurance on my credit card.
I certainly didn't trust her when she said she was from RBC. If it's not my branch calling then I DON'T want to talk to you.

I got the same just right now, they call me @ least once a day, I'm so "F" up with them, never leave any msg they call from 8am to 9pm...Toronto Ontario!

All you have to do is call back and the recording gives you the option to be listed on the "do not call" list at the end of the message.

i got the same call 10 minutes ago , she  told me she will send me a letter or e-mail   , she said if i don't need the insurance ,i can call them to cancel it .or it will be charge me $ 17.99  on my credit card . how can i stop they charge me on my credit card ?

***FOLLOW UP** I got a call every day except this weekend. But I just got a call 5mins ago, it's Tuesday. Finally someone answered and she told me it was RBC calling for extra insurance for my credit, first month was free and then they charged 17.99$ a month. I asked her about the number calling and no one answering, she said they have been having a problem with the dial up system that it called numbers on a list but then hang up on you. It sounds legit but you never know with all the scams going on. I politely told her I didn't need the insurance and she said she was going to take me off the list. Time will tell if that's true or not. Hopefully it helps out others.

I read a lot of people replies on here and no one seems to make follow ups for the issue, they just complain and never come back. That's not much help. So far I had this call once a day for the past week or so, picked up twice. The first time it was just a hang up. The second time I said hello and a guy just kept repeating "Hello" almost sounded like it was repeating my voice but it wasn't because I am french and I was saying "allo". Finally he hung up. I tried the "do not call list" by pressing 1 when I called back the first time. But that doesn't work obviously because they called again just 30mins ago. So Id suggest NOT to add your number to that list it doesn't work.

I WILL write back in a few days see what they say the next time, for a FOLLOW UP, you guys do the same please. So far I haven't found a solution to this problem.

do not know who is calling but will not stop . they call almost every day.I want it to stop.

I have been getting a call from this # every day for a couple of weeks - every time I answer they hang up.  Finally recorded the # and called it back today.  It was BMO (Bank of Montreal).  I gave them my ph # and they said they were calling for someone who no longer works here - the rep could not explain to me why they were hanging up every time I answered!!!!  She assured me the calls would stop...we'll see.

this number keeps calling week after week, I get a voice mail and no message! I'm on the Do not call list and I keep getting these calls.

caller wants me to provide information about my credit card. i told her i will just go to my bank to do it.

They call me everyday, so I just answered today and they said they were from my bank and tried to sell me some insurance for my cards, so i politely said not today thanks, but they were persistent and told me all sorts of promises to make me want to, i kept saying no but she kept pushing it, so finally i asked what i would have to do, and she said all i need is a password and they would send me all the information in 10 days and i get 30 days free protection and a 50 dollar gift card and if i didnt think it was for me, i could just call to cancel before there were any charges and i could keep the gift card.. so it has to be somewhat legit if they had all my information on file.. so i agreed and in 10 days i'll be cancelling and keeping my giftcard.. i just really hope they are gonna keep their end of the deal and cancel everything.. and i really REALLY hope i didnt just eff myself over.. we'll see.

it's from rbc inquiring about credit cards.

Clearly a fraudulent call.  

The person calling was offering protection from identity theft .

She then asked for my bank account number and credit card number etc...

I called the police but said they couldn't do anything because they were using an american nuber.

So I'm reporting it to this website

I get a call from these people daily trying to do an RBC Visa survey to ad credit card insurance.  Just got on the do not call list.
