Just got a call asking to discuss my credit card ending in XXXX; I said "I don't know who you are and won't be discussing my credit card with you" to which they immediately hung up

Started calling about a month ago. They've called and left 2 messages with multiple more phone calls with no messages. They are looking for someone else. Finally after calls every single day this week, I picked up and told them they had the wrong phone number and not to keep calling. She immediately hung up. They called again the next day!! I told them I told them not to call AGAIN and that I was on the do-not-call list and to NOT call me and they hung up on me. They called AGAIN the next day at 7 pm!!!! So sick of it and I don't know what to do.

Somehow this number seems to be crossing over to my cell.

I have been researching who is calling 866-503-8805 and finally called about my account.   They are calling from the HI Value division of CITI to help resolve any issues with credit card accounts.  They were able to verify real time charges on my card.  It is not a scam as someone else said for whatever reason.  I was able to get my account issue fixed with fraud and charges removed from my bill.  Seems to be in the US.  If you still don't want to return the call,  just call the number on the back of your CITI card.. got to the same place.

I am a citi collections rep and  this is the number to my department. It is not fraud.

I get a call from this number almost every weekday morning, just after 8 a.m. I answered once and got no one speaking on the other end, so I hung up. However, the calls continue. I don't answer and they never leave a message. Can't be a debt collector, because I don't owe anything. Must be telemarketing, but you'd think they would have spoken the time that I did actually answer.

They pretend to be from CITI card and try to steal your personal information.  They told me it was a courtesy call and that I hadn't paid my statement.  They tried to get me to enroll in autopay (I think to steal my banking information).  I checked on-line and called CITI.  My payment had been received, and no calls had been made to me that day.  If you call the number back, they pretend to be CITI.  Good pretenders, but do not verify in the correct way...they only knew a few charges on a statement from the previous month...nothing about the most recent charges.  Definitely fradulent.
