Received calls all day from this number, no response when I answered. When I returned the call, got the voicemail of a Mr. Robert Long from Marketing Strategies. Option was given to leave message or press 2 to be added to National Do not call list.

no one answers when I pick it up, so lately I've just been hanging up when I see it.  Why do I get these calls since I have the no call option with the phone company?

To "rc" -- it's complete bu***hit to say they're calling because we've given them our numbers.  When they call my number they ask for someone I've never heard of.  Other complainants have mentioned the same thing.

This number called me three times on 8/17/09 and 8/18/09 asking for "Nichole" -- just like the other 20 phone calls for "Nichole" in the last two months.  They all claim to be calling me for the first time; they all claim that I asked them to call me; they all say they'll remove my number from their records; they all lie like rugs.

What I don't understand is how this could possibly be a viable business model.

You continue to get these calls because you gave them your number. You must have signed onto one of their websites by using your first name and a phone number. They are not breaking any laws because the number was freely given with permission to call. Buy a majicjack adapter and don't plug a phone to it and when you give out a phone number give the assigned number. Real cheap for a year of peace. So don't complain about the calls if you give out your number or do nothing.

They are called Debt Free Rights, based out of Phoenix Arizona (not sure if the call center is there. More than likely each call is routed to a different home-based scammer/representative).  Do enough research and you'll find that they are 'affiliated' with American Marketing Strategies, also based out of Phoenix Arizona, listed under a nearly identical address.  I've twice asked to be put on their do not call lists, and I have filed two complaints.  If they keep it up, I've got another trick up my sleeve.  If you don't answer, please file an online complaint with the FCC.  The more complaints filed that leads back to this scam, the easier it will be to get them shut down.

Have gotten calls from this number a few times. When I called back, received a message that the number is temporarily disabled.

they keep calling and asking for George, they call at all times day or night and I keep telling them George does not live here, they become rude and hand up.

Receive several calls within minutes of each other.  I am on the DNC list.  All you can do it hang up on them, they aren't going to give up.  I would like to be able to answer my phone without fear of it being from these idiots. I will be reporting it to the AZ State Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission.

I get called by this number anywhere between once and three times daily. The only company i have given my number to since i started receiving these calls is proactive. I don't answer the calls so I really have no idea what they are about but it is very annoying.

These people keep calling me and I keep telling people to add me to their Do Not Call List. They say OK but they keep calling. I have called this number back to get the automated Voice mail and I push 2 to be added to their National Do Not Call List but they still keep calling. I think these people should be reported and a Class Action Lawsuit should be started. They are very very annoying and I can't get these people to stop calling me!!!!

In 2 days 18 calls and no one on the other end of the line when I answer.
Someone needs to do something!!!   Obviously the Do Not Call list means nothing to this caller.  Calls as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 11 PM.

this phone calls at all times of day. I had to turn my phone off at night so it won't wake me up.
