The US Attorney General should go after these and some of those internet "get rich quick" Scammers. But sadly  most of them are barely staying within the law and razzle dazzle you until they hook you and you find out too late you've been taken.

This is the phone number G.F. Institute Kansas City wanted me to call. I didn't call, knowing the so called telegram was fake. Stay away from this phone number.

hi i received this post card $25000 from G F institute if u see how openely they mentioned this grant on first page plus approved (shocking) and Release anyone can take it these people are fishy dont give them any kind of money why there is no address on postcard only Phone number thing before u act

I received a mailing from these people. I figured it was a scam. I did not call the 1-800 number, you never know what info they can get just by you calling to inquire. DO NOT CALL these people. Keep safe. thnks

I received a scamy letter about the "The Upcoming Release of Government Funds".
I called to that number, I had the following:
1)Record about the Grant ,and how to have the big twenty bucks!
2)Information about you, name,address,phone number and e-mail.
3)Buy a booklet,a guideline in how to obtain the funds!.
There are something worth to notice or take in account that is not only person  that runs the business.It is a chain crime organization.because the guy that spoke with me had an perfect american  accent.
When the woman told (the live person was a woman),about my credit card,I quickly had  a red flag.
no be fooled for this guys,go to the attorney general of your state,and fill out a complaint form.

I received a letter in the mail today for this as well. I thought it was just junk mail, so I "Googled" the name and I expected to see a G.F Institute website, but lucky I found this site, and no G.F Institute website exists, on Google at least.

Got the same junk mail today. immediately went online and looked it up, that's when I stumbled upon this website. It was no doubt a big scam. I hope that this place gets shut down.

Any time you hear our President announce a policy to help us, please make a call to your Congressman or Congresswoman's office (Call the Senator's office too) so that they can pass the President's Plan into action/law. Until such time, you save your time and money.

Now, regarding G.F.Institute's mail:The mail I received today did not suggest any grant waiting for me. However, it did mention about Government Funds about to be released. Please understand that there are Billions of dollars available as Grants from our government every year. If your Congress man or Congresswoman cannot assist you in determining your eligibility for these grants, you probably wouldn't have much chance.

Our response to G.F.Institute shall be as follows:
Let us all(say a million people)call the TOLL FREE number everyday and make them pay for it. Doing so,we keep the staff at G.F.Institute busy. Let these staff have a steady work and let the SUCKERS pay their staff every week until the crooks are SUCKED-UP.

When calls come in like this # It shows on caller ID. I do not answer because my phone is blocked and they have to unblock it. Than I check to see if a message is left and if not  void it. Also I know this was a scam because the so called Goverment dose not work this way

i called anyway, after reading everyones comments. after listening to the automated answering system, an operator answered asking for the code and my name.
i quickly told her i heard this was a scam.
and she, after ignoring my comment went on to ask me if i wanted to buy the package to get my grants.
i said no, and she quickly said have a good day.

I also received the card today. I thought it might be bogus so came online to check it out. Thank you all so much and thank goodness for sites like this where we can go to check things out before getting into a bunch of trouble.

if any one fell for this scam and gave them your info you should talk to your local police or leagle aid and they should be able to tell you what you should do.the reason these scams keep happening is there very difcault to find and stop and as soon as one scam is stoped another pops up so its anever ending battle.

Didn't call the number or get call from them, but this is the number to call to 'claim your interest in $25,000.00!  Yeah, and I'm, the Easter Bunny!  How do these people get away with this crap?

I jus got the letter saying I waz approved to for 25,ooo.oo, it did sound 2 good 2 be true. considering they r saying the goverment is giving away money. but I say keep up wit ur scam, cus the goverment really has 2 do something wit these companies. who want to take for senoirs citizen or the poor. we are in a deep recession, and I feel sorry if they do get someone who is old and  in need of money. Yes indeed, I just received rthe same letter so I decided to be a bir pro-active and called the number and listened to the recorded message. after the recording was done I pressed "1" as instructed. I did get connected to a live operator...operator number 9882, Alisa. I instantly informed her that this letter and this call are going to be reported to the Attorney General as well as the US Postmaster, to which she simply said "Thank you, Goodbye" and just hung up. Do not be fooled by scams such as these. They are just out to get your money and your personal information. I am very tempted to call them and tell them that same thing everyday to send them a message.

I've received phone msgs over and over again wanting my information to obtain the $25 K. I've ignored all the phone msgs on my cell; however, they're trying by the ole standard mail method. GFI Institute is a scam and don't be turned on by a free $25K grant that does not exist. Please do not call the 866-576-9176 number and expect anything. THIS SCAM SHOULD BE REPORTED AND STOPPED BECAUSE SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET BIT.

I recieved offical telegram stating I've been approved for $25,000 with # to call. Needless to say I called it found out they want $59 for the info on how to get this money!!! I'm disabled with 7 disabilities, indigent also. I've been tring for 3 and 1/2 years to get a disability grant, this letter is what I got !!!!!!!!! I'm SO... VERY SICK, can't get, up need medicine, a doctor, food,assistance to pay my bills and I actually thought GOD had answered my prayers!!! I'M BEGGING ANYONE OUT THERE GET THESE "*"#%*#:''*!!! PLEASE!!! They deserve whatevers coming to them!!! Just to bring people's hopes and dreams crashing down is the most horrific thing you can do to a person!!! I recieved an official (I use this word VERY LIGHTLY) Enevolope W/ my name from the GRANT FUNFS INSTITUTE KANSAS CITY KANSAS "Your Access To Government Funds" with the 1-866-576-9176 number inside stating that I'd been approved for a $25,000 Grant that wouldn't have to be paid back! I was to call this number as they have been tring to get in touch with me. They gave me a release code so I could get the $25,000 and I had to call within the next 36 hours or the grant would go to someone else. Needless to say, I wasred minuted on my phone which I can't afford to do beings I only own a cell phone, and got an automated recording telling me to send them $59.00 for some kind of fee so I'd be able to recieve MY MONEY!!!!!!!!! That's HORRIBLE!!! I'm close to being indigent, losing my house, need government assistance to keep my gas and electric on and hardly have ANY FOOD to speak of!!! Also I've got 7 permenent disabilities which I only recieve &700 per month for!!! I've been tring like crazy to get a grant of some kind for medical, and medication money!!! This is about the 9th time I've reieved something saying I've either won money, or got FedExed conterfite Money Grams, plus alot of stuff that really looks offical and only to have my hopes dashed yet again!!!!!!!!! I WISH somebody would or could do something about these jerks!!! I'm so... very sick I can't even get out of bed in the am, and Have to use my phone w/internet just to look for asstistance, doctors, medicine!!!
