If you see any job apps that require listing your cell phone provider, be wary. The particular site that scammed me was called "Lightspeed Careers." A**holes.

I have been called by this number seven times today and i'ts not even lunch time yet!! I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, with the thought that if it's really for me, they'll leave a message. This number never does. Finally, I called back and it was some message system that directed me to an 'agent' that informed me that he was collecting on a past due Chase credit card. Problem is, not only have i never had a Chase card, but my credit is immaculate. If you get a call from this number, or from anyone saying they are collecting on an old debt, demand that they send you paper correspondance. NEVER pay a debt over the phone. Tell them that you will only do business with them if they send information in the mail so that you can check their validity. If they are ligitimate, they won't have a problem with that. If they press for you to give out your bank account information over the phone, just hang up and report them. I hope this saves someone from making a mistake that could cost hundreds.

They call here all day long. Carlos asking for my daughter about online school. I have a do not call number. THis is really really irritating. Wish I could report them to someone.

I just filled out a thing to apply for scholarships and it asked for my phone number. And now this number started calling me! Don't give out your number if you don't think it is ligit. I did it at www.cappex.com, a scholarship cite. Be careful
