Hello did you ever find out who the number was
Me Too 2014-01-09 02:21:50 Unknown
They called me and asked for my social security number and address. I wouldn't give it to them.
They said it was about taxes from the state of California. I told them I've never lived in California and she just kept asking for my address and social. She said she already knew them so I told her to give them to me. She knew the social but couldn't give my address.
She ended up hanging up on me.

Here is their website:

They didn't leave a message. I don't do business or live in Indiana.

And P.S. They don't need to have your information given to them by you - it's given to them by the state - all they need is your soc sec # and they can find out who you bank with. And no other kind of collection agency would be able to levy your account with no prior warning.
I checked BBB reports - and by the look of all posted there, they are a legitimate, well reported company.
Just sayin'.

They are legit - and at least with me they have given me no problems. I owe the money - and have made arrangements to pay the debt - after the levied my bank account. I did contact the State of Indiana regarding the high "down payment" they were insisting on before I could get the levy removed. The State (IRS) told me I would have to work with Premier because once it was turned over to them, the State was no longer involved.
I did have plenty of chances to pay this - first through the state, then the local sheriff's office before it was turned over to Premier. No one to blame but myself.
I'm sorry for those of you who are being affected wrongly by them calling, or the levies on your bank account - but for me - it's all legit and no ones problem but my own stupidity.

Yeah, these people are contracted by Indiana to collect state taxes. They levied my account, no information given to them! Call them back, definitely not a scam.

They claimed our old business owes taxes to the state of Indiana. I told them to provide written proof and I believe it was a scam. Supposedly they sent paperwork on at least 4 occasions. Will report to the Attorney Generals office. Didn't identify themselves either.

This is Premiere Credit, they try to collect for the IRS but that is just because they want their fee. If you owe Indiana State Taxes, pay them directly yourself. These people are the lowest of low. I stopped talking to them they use illegal intimidation methods.

Called, rang once and nothing. Have talked to them before, and they want to collect back taxes from the state of Indiana. B***s***, I checked the Indiana Revenue Dept list and my name is not on it.

This number calls me 10-15 times a day. I want it to stop
pammy0215 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
It was a recordning saying it was a collection agency for the Indiana Department of Revenue.
Adam 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
Despite me calling them over 10 times to tell them that the debtor they are looking for does not live here, they keep calling me. They call about 5 times a week. This is harassment.
Rachel 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
I get them too, I ignore them I know it's a scam because I never lived in the state of Indiana
how have they levied your account unless you gave your info to them
Paulette Stephens 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
This company has levied my bank account for almost $500. They say it is for back ind. taxes. We don"t owe this, and it is the weekend, so I have to wait until Mon. to check it out. Don"t know what to do. The bank gave me the # and I didn"t know name until I saw it posted here. It says the # blongs to Premier credit

This companys breaks every FDCPA law out there. If you get a call from them, contact your local Attorney General office.
Tasha 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
Misleading comments are a violation of the FDCPA -- I would seriously think about contacting an attorney in your area --

1-866-618-1060 have been calling me for months saying I owe money to the State of Indiana!! I don't owe any money!! Now they call leaving a message that they need to varify a reference for a friend or family member.
Jesse Wills 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
They say i owe back taxs from 2004 if i owed back taxs the (IRS) would contact me (not a collection agency) i think it might be a scam.
klesmiley 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
person left voice mail saying that they needed to verify some references. said her name was bonnie dee. she even spelled it. did not call back.
tkdkb 2011-06-06 21:02:40 Unknown
This person tried to fool me by saying it was for a reference check for someone that applied for a job but it was really a bill collector whom I had told repeatedly that they had the wrong person
