I received a call today (10/07/2008) from 866-623-9354 at 9:58 AM Central Standard U.S. time. There was no voicemail left on my phone; something "the real" Citi always does. I then used Sly Dial (a free service that automatically connects you to a voicemail box) to call it back and see if there was an automated message system.  The automated Sly-dial operator requested I submit a valid, U.S. telephone number as it cannot direct this prepaid wireless call. Obviously, Citigroup has a valid U.S. number and I'm sure its not operating through prepaid wireless.

I received a call from this number multiple times. Like 10 times in an hour. They do not announce who they are they just ask for an account number. I had no idea what they were even talking about. I lied to them and gave a fake number and address. Can anyone tell me who these people are.
