Most of them are not real, and you sound like one of them.

DO NOT talk to any debt collector until you do a thorough research on them.  Tell them that you will take their number and get back to them  -- once you've check them out with the BBB and local law enforcement.  If they are criminals you'll never hear from them again.  They might tell you that a deadline must be met or they will file your case with the court.  Tell them to go ahead, you'll explain it to the judge. There are thousands of these criminals out there. Somehow they get your phone number and lending history. Trust me.

I was scammed by Watson Crick and Associates, LLC.  Don't let it happen to you.

They found my boyfriend's number and called yesterday trying to make him believe that he owed thousands to a credit card company and only had to pay $600, yeah right...when we got off the phone, I immediately started to investigate by computer, only to find out that they don't exist anywhere. DO NOT give them any bank information because they tried to clean our account out. Nice try "Watson, whoever you are", but we caught on quick!

The company is a FRAUD. I'm sure the word has gotten out so "Jess" has taken some time out from making fraudulent calls to do some fraudulent positive PR for the "company". I don't owe money and I will never owe them money, yet they continue with the fraudulent calls. The government actually has a page to report frauds and scams. I suggest everyone visit it and fill out the couple pages of info.

They are real. I received phone calls from a firm saying I owed $460 to 53rs from an account I had closed down. They then passed it to them, I received letters in the mail from them. If you would like then to sue you then by all means ignore them. If you really do not owe money for anything you should go through another source instead of just ignoring them.

keep calling for someone we have NEVER heard of first name/last initial - this phone # has been used by the same person for 50+ years! Stop scamming people and do your own damn detective work - someone has to investigate these vulture zombie debt companies! - STOP THESE SCAMMERS

Watson and crick left my mother a message claiming I was in an accident and she need to call them asap.

when I returned their call they were trying to collect a bogus debt that is not mine.

FYI, there was another debt collection agency that called me last year (Vanderbilt and associates).
it seems that Watson and crook may have obtained this information in a not so legitimate way.

P.S. never ignore a debt collector they can sue you for any legitimate debt (even illegitimate debts)

Not only are they calling my parents but they called my aunt an uncles house harassing them there a debt coklector harassing family members for a family member that states owes them money from years ago.  There ridiculous they wont quit calling enough is enough..

I've been getting calls every day for quite some time. I tried calling back, but only got automated outgoing messages for a while. Finally, I got a real person. I explained to her that I was not the woman she was looking for, and to take my number off her list immediately. She apologized, and said that I had been removed. The calls stopped for a couple days, and then started back up again with a couple days of no calls in between. I got another call today, and called them back. Got a real person, started chewing him out, he said that someone had been in my account and had deleted a number, but that the one I was calling from was still listed. Said he removed it and that the calls should stop. If I continue to get phone calls from them, I'm going to threaten legal action for harassment. I also plan to have my carrier block their number. I'm sick of this. It's been going on for over a month now and they're not leaving me alone.

I also been receiving voicemails for the last 2 days saying Watson and Crick. Then when I called a lady answer saying paralegal and I need to pay on an account i dont have from 7 years ago. Said I need to pay $105 or more a month. She read an address to me that was not mind and when i started asking her questions she got mad and hung up. So i called back and asked for the address and a guy answered and said we dont have an address then was quiet and said uh then paused again then said i give u a po box, which was 678268 orlando fl 32807, which of course doesnt come up.

Got multiple calls from this number; somewhere in the range of 6 calls within a 5 minute time frame.  Two voicemail messages were left.  The first was just dead air, as someone obviously didn't realize they had gotten my voicemail.  The second was some seemingly uneducated woman who claimed to be a paralegal from Watson & Crick, calling about a civil matter in the county I used to live in over 2 years ago.  I still have the same cell number as before which is based in the previous county.  So I'm quite certain they have no idea I live 2,200 miles away from there.  That's the first indication this is a scam company.  The second red flag is the name they chose for their firm or company... Watson & Crick.  I did some research and there is no company by this name in the county they were calling from....or in the state for that matter...at least as far as I can tell.  The only information I could find on this name was reference to James Watson and Francis Crick - the two scientists that discovered the structure of DNA.  Nice try guys!  Maybe next time you should do some research of your own before choosing a name for your Scam Company.
