Annoying caller

it is a job site where they can find you jobs it was found on facebook I was stupid enough to apply but just as far as the first page. which I gave my cell phone number. it calls the number about 6 times in a 2 hour time frame.

I'm awaken in the morning by my cell phone ringing ,it's like a  alarm clock going off .
It's happens every a.m. for several days now ..They won't speak and leave no message.
I truly believe they got my number from the internet and if , I find that to be so I will complain to the site manager and shop there no more !!!    I am listed on the " Do not call list "...

I GOT 8 CALLS FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER. THE FIRST CALL WAS AT 8:20 AM HE LAST CALL WAS AT 12:59 PM. EVERY TIME I PICKED UP THE PHONE THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. THIS IS VERY VERY ANNOYING.

They called me also,  9 times today, not leaving a message. I'm afraid they will call again. I picked up ones but noting there.

They call almost everyday and many times. Only today, they called 6 times from 10 AM to 4 PM. I don't pick up. I use a small device with a prerecorded message warning not to make unauthorized calls but I rarely bother rushing to the phone to push the button on it before the 4-th ring (after it, the answering machine is on). I think I did push the button once or twice but that didn't help. I just feel more comfortable ignoring them than getting involved in an unpleasant conversation.

This number has called 5 times today and it is only 2:28pm!  Very annoying!  I am a very busy woman and I canot always answer.  A message would be nice instead of calling evey hour!

They've been calling me ALL day and not leaving one message!

Along with everyone else on here, it's SMC promotions. Called me today so far 3 times (1-19-12) I did call back as suggested from previous comments, pressed 1 for no call list, re-entered my number, and hope it will stop after a couple of days.

they  call me  all  the  time,  more than 10  times  a  day,  I  said  one  day,  I  dont  have interesting  in  any  promotion,  please  nover  call  again,  becaise  I  am  working  in  night  shiff  I  am  sleeping  everyday  at  the  morning  untill evenign  and  they  call  and  call  and  call  everyday  is  really  desgasting,  what  I  can  do??  please  help  me

WHO ARE THEY? Why do they call several times a day and never leave a meassage?

I am getting calls from 866-701-1762 and I have no idea who it is. They have called me 5 times today and have not left a message.

Please quit calling me cause i do not know you nor have any business with you, so quit calling.

These people are calling several times a day. What happened to the "do not call" service? I want them blocked if possible.

Sooo yeah you're all right it's SMC (whatever that stands for), they aren't necessarily a SCAM per-say but they are an MLM from what it sounds like.
I personally used to be a telemarketer so I decided to play them at their own game and ask questions other people probably don't about their company -- hoping that maybe since I answered...they'll stop calling. (the funny thing is ... mid-call.... as I was talking...the call "disconnected") LOL
I don't know if he realized I was winning this game or if it really disconnected.

Somehow these people got your # from signing up for something online even if you didn't realize it... just ask them to put you on THEIR Do Not Call....

So many people complain about "oh I'm on the National DNC" you know what... if people would read the small print you'd see - you have to file Nat'l DNC every 6 months to a year... just go to the website for them and put in all phone #'s and then it'll ask you to verify by e-mail each # you put in.

If you signed up for something, even unintentionally they have the right to call you - just be nice to them, they're doing their job... they aren't a scam - just tell them nicely..."Put me on YOUR Do Not Call List, I would appreciate it thank you."

I sorta feel bad the call disconnected... LOL!!

This number keep calling me for how many times everyday.and they don't leave any voice message...it's bugging me.

They've called me 30 times in 4 days. When i answer no ones there. Its so rediculous.

I KEEP RECEIVING THESE PHONE CALLS,DAY AND NIGHT IT IS VERY DISTURBING,I'M ON A VERY LIMITED BUDGET.MY PHONE IS STRICTLY FOR EMERGENCY ONLY.I USE A PREPAID CARD,I CAN'T AFFORD THESE IDIOTS CONSTANTLY CALLING ME,IT IS VERY ANNOYING AND FOR ME QUITE EXPENSIVE..          PLEASE  DO  SOMETHING

It is SMC Promotions.  They are telemarketers and they called me and asked for someone I didn't know and told them they had the wrong #.  They tried to get me to sign up for some bull**** work at home scam.  I told them I wasn't interested and hung up.  They still called 4 times after that and I answered another time and told them not to call again and they called again.  I called back and pressed 1 and entered my # for the Do Not Call list, but I'm concerned that is a scam as well.  Does anyone know if they can use my # since I called them and entered it?  I'm thinking about changing my # now.

Call the nunber back and select option 1 then enter your number to be added to the no-call list

Just call back and press 1 if you dont want to be in their do not call list it takes 1 or 2 business days

they call me all the time and i finally answered yesterday and the guy tried to sell me a business opportunity,and he wouldn't let me get in a word at all i tried to be nice and say It wasn't a good time to talk he said "i understand"then plowed on!!! so I just hung up.they call at least 8 times a day at all times even up to 8 at night.

OMG I GOT 7 PHONE CALLS WITHIN THE TIME FRAME OF  9:44AM TO 12:31 PM THEY NEVER LEFT A MESSAGE...I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND IT SAID IT WAS SMC AND THEY HAVE A SPECIAL OFFER..IT ALSO SAID IF I NO LONGER WANT TO RECIEVE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER PRESS 1 AND DIAL MY NUMBER TO ADD IT TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I WAS AFRAID TO DO THAT CAUSE THEY PROBABLY WOULD SELL MY NUMBER TO ANOTHER COMPANY..SO I WAITED ON THEM TO CALL BACK SO I COULD TELL THEM TO REMOVE MY NUMBER AND;  THE GUY ASK ME WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT WITH THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY SO I TOLD HIM WHERE HE COULD SHOVE HIS OPPORTUNITY AND TO REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THEIR LIST AND,  I HUNG UP.... THEY CALLED BACK. SO I HAD TO ADD PARENTAL CONTROL TO MY PHONE ACCOUNT TO BLOCK THEIR NUMBER...I WANTED TO SCREAM CAUSE IT WAS SO ANNOYING.
