I don't know who this is or what they want

Either you work for a collection agency, or you're an idiot. No, wait, either way you're an idiot.

These people, or company whatever they want call me at all hours. It is very irritating! Every time I answer the phone I get a machine lady saying hello. So I hang up and call back and it says "thank you for calling" and beep....
no answer on the other end other than a machine.

If you owe the debt, pay it.  If you dont owe the debt contact your state Attorney General and file a complaint with the FTC.  The FTC has good information on what a 3rd party collector is able to do by law.  You need to do your best to record the amount of calls and when they occur.  Who you are speaking to and any call back numbers that are available.  By just complaining with only a phone number limits the assistance that any goverment agency can give you.

I get calls from this place all the time looking for a Debbie so and so who I have never heard of in my life.  Everytime I follow the prompts and they still keep calling.  

#1Coll3ctionag3nt: have you ever thought some people gave out bogus numbers to people who do not in fact owe money???  So, not everyone on here owes someone for a delinquent bill.  Some of us are just getting badgered for no reason.

I do not owe ANYONE any money and certainly not a collection  agency.

If you dont stop calling here I am going to report you to EVERYONE I can find that handles annoying calls.

This number calls me once or twice a day for over a month now. I have never answered and they have never left a message. They've never contacted me at work only my cell phone. I do have a medical bill being appealed but I called the company who billed be and put a hold on my account so if this is a collection agency they are not trying very hard to contact me!

I was called today by CBCS for a collection account for medical bills that was already paid in a court judgement.  I disputed the account since I know my balance is paid in full since I work at the medical office now.

I did get some more information if anyone needs to send a C&D letter to them.
The supervisor is Kathy Baker - Kathy.Baker@cbcsnational.com (got e-mail from monster.com job posting on there own website) she is at the Dayton Ohio office.

A mailing address for them at that location as well as the Columbus P.O. box

called with claim i was in collections with ohio Orthopaedic service that doesn't exist.  Turned in to BBB.  I refused to give soc. security to confirm knowing this was not legit.  Beware

I have received calls from this 1 866-746-3152 number to my cell phone number, which is not given out except to close friends. I have had the same number for over 6 years and my voicemail is not personalized. I do not answer calls I do not recognize. They do not leave any messages, but have only called twice.

calls daily wont answer the phone when i pick up or when i call back.
if i do that to someone,they would want to arrest my azz for stalking.  what makes this case different???  look like the same to me

i recived a call on my cell phone wich is not in my name from 866-746-3152 they said they were a company named cbcs which is a debt collection they said i had outstanding med bills at a hospital i have recived care from i called the hospital and they do work with that company. the company is out of columbus ohio although only giving a p.o. box no mailing address. Alot seems sketchy about the way they handle things so if you get a call find out were the bill is from and contact them i would not send them any money or give out and info. they are rude people and when i told them to send me something i have never recived anything and said they would mark me down as refuseal to pay.

They call me roughly 3-4x a day, I've answered a few times and talked with them. Very rude, they say they are a collection agency trying to collect on a debt. The debt in question was from a car accident almost 4 years ago. The accident was the woman who rear ended me, was he fault. After that fact I sent all medical bills to her insurance co. and they paid them, or so they say they did..I have to assume they did, as I never received another bill from the hospital...and everyone knows hospitals send those bills out monthly! I almost feel like its a scam, I've checked my credit report (all 3 reporting agencies) and this debt is not on my credit at all. I refuse to pay until they can prove to me that the insurance co. didn't pay the hospital bill.

I get at least 8 calls a day that are hangups from this number.  When I'm on the computer it will list how many missed calls I get from here.  This has been going on for weeks.  I just don't answer but they never leave a message.  So now I know who this is. Why wouldn't they leave a message?

We have been receiving calls from this company -- Very Rude people and very uncooperative...I have asked for documentation for what the bills is for -- not received to date -- Was told that the bill was for a DR bill for a Date of Service of which the company didn't not even exist -- bill was from 2001 and the company was not in existence until 7/2003....This is deceptive people and very uncooperative and rude.  They are out of Columbus, OHio

Received a call from 866-746-3152 from a "Michelle" calling someone in the office by name asking that they return the call before 10pm

I have been receiving calls from this number as well (so I went online to see if I could find out anything).  I don't have anything in collection.  And, it it coming to my cell phone which I use only to communicate with friends (I don't list it on anything).

I receive calls from this number at work every day.  It rings once or twice and then disconnects.

This # call 2X a day for at least 45 days.  It does sound like a collection company.  When I answer no one is one the line.

Woman that called was very rude I pretended to be a police officer and got a guy named Joe who was also very rude. He claims he is with a collection company called CBCS and his supervisor is Cathy Baker. He will not give his full name. Tough rude guy on the phone but afraid to say who he is. The best thing to do is to complain to your local police and report them to your local BBB, your phone company & if you are on the do not call list report them at: https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/ComplainCheck.aspx

The do not give a phone number at the web address so the only ones I have is what shows up on the caller Id's. They are 866-746-3152 & 888-727-8819. Don't forget REPORT THEM!!!!!!
